He is yours. In fact he is still on the Getafe page on TM.

He is a really good keeper and if they don't get Courtois, he will be Atleticos number 1 next season.

But I'll leave it there. I can't really justify spending £4m on him tbh. I enquired because I have a lawyer for my current first choice, so it was to see what kind of extra to upgrade a bit

I'm not seriously keeping Buffon btw.

However, I would buy him from you for fair value.

My keeper is worth £3.1m, I can add either a player or cash to that deal to make it fairer on you.

Really? I'd have said Buffon was better than de Gea, and about 10th on the list of top keepers, behind the likes of Hart, Foster, Courtois, Cech, Neuer and ter Stegen.

Buffon would be in the top 1 of keepers I've ever seen, ahead of Schmeichel and Taffarel. But now, he's not that top class keeper anymore. He's the next rung down.

Partly this ^, although I couldn't think of 10 better.

I came up with the following as definately better, whilst there are some others who I think are closely matched to him:
Handanovic
Neuer
Courtois
Hart
De Gea
Cech
Ter Stegen

Buffon is still great and wipes the floor with majority of the keepers mentioned, I can't believe you out Hart in that list what is wrong with you lot. He is a good keeper but not top 8 in the world. Neuer shouldn't be in there too.

So what's going to happen with Buffon? Does Azzy keep him as I need to do my foreign deals soon.

Buffon's Lawyer offer is £3m. I have £0.3m.

However, hows about this:

Saihi (£1.8m TM value) + Mounier (£2.6m) + Pionnier (£500k) + £300k = £300k cash + £4.9m TM value (£5.2m total)

Even if you released the players you'd get £2.45m, plus my £300k which makes £2.75m. Or, you keep them for Lawyers! And make massive moolah!

I'll give you the £5m I can get from accepting Gilardino instead then. One time offer for the next 10 minutes only and then I'm out and off

Okay, well i have 800k in the bank now, 1m on a gk lawyer which I'd accept and 1m for this week's game, so 2.8m. I'd add something onto that to get the deal.

De Vrij would cost you £15m. He's the best defender in the league.

I can do £3.25m for Buffon, final offer.

£1.3m + £2.45m from releasing players = £3.75m.

If you had the best keeper ever I'd consider it, but Buffon doesn't crack the top 10 of keepers of all time. And you darn well know that.

Seriously though, I'm going to leave Buffon sorry. I'm not sure he's the keeper he was and the money would be better kept for elsewhere.

Now if you are prepared to sell Clasie, we could do something including Vlaar

I can offer 6.9m in cash (which is more than his value) and Thiago who played CM for the La Liga champions.

I feel that's a cracking offer so up to you if you wish to take it.

Good offer. Would normally say I'll accept if you go up to £5.5m.

But with Iturra injured, I am short of quality CMs and don't have another TP until Tuesday to replace him

Just thinking you didn't come back to me on Ledesma.

I would take £5.5m for him, but similar to Trebs, would have to be after today as I am short on CMs.

Mind you, £6m would get him now as I couldn't turn that down!! Laugh

That's pretty much the case. Would sell for £5.5m next week, or £6m now.

If you are after a winger and really prepared to really push the boat out, Januzaj could be available

And I'm not sure what people would pay for him, or what his value could go up to, so I don't want to under sell myself.

I am expecting a market value well above £10m at least on the next rise.

Wasn't he linked to PSG for £40m? Think I might just hold on for the rise thinking about it. Could be another Iturbe type increase

I had a dream about you once too, we were all round your flat and we played some video games. It wasn't one of my most exciting dreams. How did you know it was me in the dream though? Did I look like I look or how you imagine me?

I won't sell until the TM value has been addressed. He's due an increase to his true value but I'll sell him after.
