My little old West Ham will likely confirm Valencia tomorrow before we fly to New Zealand. Sky Sports reckon its done, but they havent really been up on the fact hes been in the country two days.

We're also after at least one spare full back. Ivan Strinic and Vitorino Antunes are options at left back. We've long kept an eye on Micah Richards but i'm not sure we'd act on anything. Hugo Mallo of Celta Vigo maybe being looked at.

Vlaar for utd would be a good back up option if we couldn't get Hummels. Need a strong centre back to replace Vidic to go alongside Evans/Jones. I am sceptical on how he'd do in a back 4 and he's had cover in De Virj and Martins Indi but if he can produce the world cup performances then why not.

vlaar during the world cup looked a class act, if LVG can get the same out of him at united dont see it being a bad cheap buy, will add much needed experience. his contract only has one year left so would imagine somewhere near the 10mil mark would get him

10m! way too much if you ask me. He's 29 and until this world cup, hasn't got too much of a mention since his time at Villa. 5-6 yes. 10m i'd rather save and put towards Hummels, but overall I do agree with you, he wouldn't be a bad signing if we can't get Hummels.

When his head is in the right place he's one of the best around. It's just ensuring you keep him in that right place, Mancini was probably the worst manager for that.
