Wimbledon Day 9
First topic message reminder :
Well let us draw breath from yesterday's results!
What a day of play we have...And I will be at work missing it all! Bollox!
We have on CC
Halep v Lisicki
Murray v Dimitrov
Federer v Wawrinka
On C1
Bouchard v Kerber
Djokovic v Cilic
Raonic v Kyrgios
Who will stand victorious come Sunday?

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
Cilic almost blew the tournament wide open there. Still, if Dimitrov can reach the final that would be uber cool. Would be interesting final no matter who he plays.

Will Becker get credited for Cilic's mental meltdown?

Federer nicked another break, but up until this he was 0/5 and now suddenly he is 2/2 to make it 2/7.

Terrible game from Wawrinka to be broken. Federer needs to consolidate though.

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
For all the criticism Dimitrov and Raonic took on this forum I guess they going to make the finals, this forum is going to implode itself.

He can see another shiny slam opportunity. 18 IS out of Rafa's reach as Rafa is unlikely to win Wimbledon again

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
Krygios playing where I think his base level is. Played lights out yesterday, but I think this closer to his true level... He isn't ranked 144 for nothing.
In other news - I became a believer in Prime Time today. Yes, Murray was abject, and almost certainly mourning the loss of his idol and bestie, Nadal, but if Grigor plays like that, he might just win this

Who is the asian lady in Fed box for last decade or so?
His baby sitter?
I asked 3 years ago, no answer yet.

Kyrgios nicks the TB.
Raonic blinked! Had a chance at 3-3 and missed it.

He was a great champion but its time to move on, look how he struggles to close out of the match, wasted 3rd match point on serve i guess.

Too many mental farts (a la Djokovic) in closing it out. Needs to better in the next match.

Some loose points played in that final game, but Roger finally closes out the match; should he meet Novak in the final, the Serb will surely capitalize on such careless play.
But, he advances...
