Wimbledon Day 9
First topic message reminder :
Well let us draw breath from yesterday's results!
What a day of play we have...And I will be at work missing it all! Bollox!
We have on CC
Halep v Lisicki
Murray v Dimitrov
Federer v Wawrinka
On C1
Bouchard v Kerber
Djokovic v Cilic
Raonic v Kyrgios
Who will stand victorious come Sunday?

Fed escaped that one big time. Wonder what's up with Stan?

He won't escape in the semi-finals with that kind of performance.

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
I'd kind of agree but Rainic is so limited Fed might just cut him up. It's the final that he'd be in trouble.

Don't know but if I were Federer I wouldn't having been hugging him after the match. Polite handshake and very quick and thorough wash of hands was in order.

Kyrgios has imploded in this second set.
Raonic motoring in this second set. 5-2 and serving for the second set.

I'm praying for Fed v Baby Fed, I'm easily be able to live with whatever - the old champions last hurrah, or the passing of the torch.

The wheels are slowly falling off the Kyrgios wagon.
Raonic breaks to lead 3-2 in the third.

He's had an immense tournament, there's older players who'd be laying this off as being drained.
Don't forget, he hasn't got an egg chamber yet.

We knew well Raonic would be tougher for him coz he gives no rhythm and could even serve better than himself. Will be a very valuable learning lesson for Krygious.

Nicky boys serve means on a good day, he'll always be a tough ask, but I don't think he has the movement to become elite.

Raonic finally ends this plucky youngster's tournament.
Raonic has crept under the radar this tournament. Hope he can back it up against Federer.

No, please. Not Raonic. Dimitrov sure, but not Raonic, a man unburdened by any charisma whatsoever.legendkillarV2 wrote:Raonic finally ends this plucky youngster's tournament.

Oh come on.
I am sick of the same old fart in the final. Time for some new blood.

You may still get the stench of the two old ones, if the new aroma is too offensive.

Well the forum has cried out for new blood and now there is a chance.
Maybe Dimi and Milli could consult with Nicky for some wise words

Anyway, as anyone knows I want a last hurrah for Fed, and I don't want it to have been 2012.

He has the chance for sure.
Part of me does want me for him to put further distance between himself and Nadal. But the lure of new blood is too much for me.

Plus it is only right that the best grass player there has ever been should stand alone with the most Wimbledon titles

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
Federer has two tough matches ahead.
I also feel Wawrinka was hard done by the W schedulers having to play three days in a row. At least Federer will get a break.
What is the weather forecast for the Final?

Whats this Milo has no charisma?
He is ice cold, well behaved, no fisting, shouting, MTOs, body wallpapers or crappy hair do.
Thats how a tennis player should be, clean. As for being a little more lovable, will take some time and we seen all how cheap Djoko has made the me too, me too attraction, acting and dying for attention.
I'll have ice cold before faking stuff for attention.

I prefer Krygios' personality, Milos doesn't have one.. It's just a pity he's Australian, and I'm morally bound to hate all Australian athletes.

Watching this Murray/Dimitrov encounter is pushing my limits. Andy can't hit cross court and Dimitrov is just playing up and down of the middle of the court.
Glad I am not paying money for this!

Dimi just did all he needed to win. He also hit the occasional sumptuous BH and CC forehand, and showed some nice touch at the net
