Wimbledon Day 9
First topic message reminder :
Well let us draw breath from yesterday's results!
What a day of play we have...And I will be at work missing it all! Bollox!
We have on CC
Halep v Lisicki
Murray v Dimitrov
Federer v Wawrinka
On C1
Bouchard v Kerber
Djokovic v Cilic
Raonic v Kyrgios
Who will stand victorious come Sunday?

It's taking most of Murray's effort just to hold serve.

Better, better. Dimitrov's level will start to drop, he just has to hold serve until then.

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
It's a good thing Dimitrov returns so badly, otherwise he'd probably be running away with this match by now. Two very poor returns in that game.

Whoa.
Just 2 winners for Murray in that first set.
I am hoping he can turn this around. I have it on Sky+ dare I watch?

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
two more errors off the FH, he must have made at least 3 times the number of UEs Dimitrov has. Murray should really have had at least 30-30 or BPs in that game, but the errors pushed him out of it.

at last, hits cleanly through one, it's the trademark BHDL.
but follows it up with yet another easy mistake. what is going on?

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
and again, all Dimitrov has to do is put the ball back in court and wait for Murray to miss, which he duly does to gift away the break. What is happening out there, what's wrong with him? Physically he looks completely shot, which is really odd...

that's generous to Murray in the extreme on the UEs.

Murray breaks back!
Still looks exhausted, though, no matter how much he tries to get the crowd up.

What a hold, grinder or not, it is something to admire being able to fight like that not at apparent full mast. Few people can do it

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
the crowd are doing their best out there, bless'em. Murray playing a little better, and coupled with a poor passage from Dimitrov he gets his nose back in front at 5-4.

Chew on that, Greeeeeegor. Now we'll see if he's as mentally fragile as he has been in the past.

half-chance for Murray at 30-30 but he flahses wide, and then misses another return to let Dimitrov level at 5-5.

Murray has had so many looks at the second serve yet way too timid, just isn't returning well enough.

Cilic levels things for one set all. He's upped his game but the break of serve was a total gift from Novak.

Dimitrov goes 2 sets up and Cilic to run havoc on 2nd set, looks like Nikie woke up all the underdogs.

yet another rally where Murray just lets Dimi have free swings at the ball, awful, and Dimitrov does lead 2-0. Can't see Murray coming back from here, he just isn't playing well enough.
