Emma released by WWE.

This afternoon WWE announced that they have released Emma from her contract. This follows her being arrested on Monday for suspected shoplifting.

Nothing quite like WWE being hypocritical. You get fined for doing drugs and DUI's but fired for stealing.

I read that she forgot to scan an Ipad case worth $21. Yet Jack Swagger still has a job after driving whilst high, and injuring Ziggler and Barrett.

As an Aussie the arrest could have prevented her from getting / keeping a work visa... if it is a matter of sorting out the case, returning to Australia and reapplying then she could be back in the WWE in a year. It isn't like the case is massive, awful headline grabbing news that would cause some kind of PR disaster...

Interesting. Problem is, shes so small a part of their plans that they wouldnt announce her as released if they thought she'd be back soon.

Yep, WWE have announced that upon further evaluation, Emma has had her contract reinstated but will face action for breaking the law.

She can count herself very lucky. Lock her up and throw away the key I say. Horrible crime to commit.

would have been an utterly ridiculous reason to fire her, when their male employees get away with drink driving which is really a moronic and selfish thing to do, for someone to be fired for this wouldve been the worst publicity yet
