Wilson really should have taken a leaf out of Roy's and Tremlett's books and cracked on with it. If he had done that, it would have improved his chances of a ton and ours of a win. He has no one to blame but himself and is lucky to have been allowed so long to get so near.

Simon
With a draw almost certain against Gloucester Hants will jump back above us in the table with a game in hand. Haven't checked their run in to be honest but I wouldn't say it's quite in our hands just yet. Certainly a far better position than I felt we'd be in a month ago however!

For all my doubts, probably served me right that my computer crashed 30 minutes before the end!
As others have suggested, a very deserved victory as we dominated so much of the game although I still feel we took it closer to the wire than necessary. Anyway, very well done to all - excellent team effort with so many playing a valuable part.
Beehive - if Harinath retains his place (not definite but very harsh if he doesn't), one other option besides leaving out Davies would be to give Solanki the week off to have some more 'family time'. Meant as a genuine thank you and appreciation to him.

Relax guys, a win is a win is a win.
king_carlos,
You're right of course but we have momentum. Worcester are surely overdue a flooded ground (preferably not when we play them) and even if Hampshire get a draw today, I reckon they'll only take 8 pts = 1 point above us with their game in hand.
Not dissimilar to when we - most improbably - chased down and pipped at the very very last Northants for the 2nd CC2 promotion spot a couple of seasons ago. If I were Worcs and Hants I'd be looking over my shoulder with a bit of concern. Their two team procession has now genuinely become a potential 2 from 3 to go up, especially if we can keep winning our games.

Incidentally, the only time I ever saw Harold W in the flesh was at the House of Commons and he was throwing himself catches with his cigarette lighter.... was probably a useful cricketer...

Cheers for the fixtures Beehive
I agree that Hants especially will be looking over their shoulders but as Beehive's post shows the run ins for the sides aren't massively dissimilar in challenges and balance of home advantage.
The side have done incredibly well to get themselves into a position to challenge after the start to the season but with a game in hand the top 2 are still favourites in my mind.
