Petey Williams retires Empty Petey Williams retires

TNA original and former 2 time TNA X Division champion "The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams has retired from Wrestling aged just 32. Seems a bit young, and I dont know any more about the story.

Probably he realised he had nothing left to offer when other high profile guys started using the destroyer

Thats a shame. I enjoyed his performances, the few times I saw him in TNA.

When I first started watching, about 5 years ago the X Division seemed to get equal billing with the heavyweight and they had a decent roster. Now its just a side-show.

They ditched a load of great X Division talent to focus on what is a mostly pretty average heavyweight division.

Would have thought Williams could go the same way as AJ Styles. I'm sure ROH or one of the other promotions would take him on.
