Got to love Glasgwegian taxi drivers.

And at £7.90 for such a long trip, taxis are obviously a lot cheaper than in Edinburgh!

RDW, you are not hinting that a gentleman of the press may have been playing fast and loose with the facts are you?

Difficult to argue with the result, and some nice fence sitting on V2 poster of the year!

You should allow yourself the casting vote. I don't mind who you vote for, as long as it's an Edinburgh fan, anti-separatist and based in Stockbridge.

I called the award 'v2 honourable mention' to avoid that very scenario!

That's me tweeted the results on the v2 rugby feed - could those cool enough to be on Twitter retweet / favourite to give us some publicity?

Ha! Those days are behind me (at least until next year!) I've moved on from lego. These days it's all about the Subbuteo...

The wonders of social media - my V2 tweet about Geoff Cross being Scotsman of the year has had numerous retweets, and someone even tweeted it to his wife and she replied saying she was a very proud wife indeed!

Did anyone attend the Sellic football club champs league game last night?

If so, how was the pitch looking! is it worth the £££'s that has been spent on it?

Watched a bit online and the pitch looks fantastic. They've also got rid of the running track.

It has received widespread praise from the managers, pundits and players alike so looks pretty positive.

Interesting to see what effect a decent pitch has on Edinburgh - I always thought last season the bad pitch was a bit of a leveller.

Agreed - last season the pitch certainly did us a few favours against the more expansive sides and the better scrummagers.

Hopefully the new surface will encourage a more attacking approach from Edinburgh (and Scotland), and allow for a more open game. Watching the scrum being reset 50 times a match and seeing ordinarily quick players wading through the mud wasn't a great spectacle.

Have they put extra seating in or something where the runnning track was or is here just a big empty space where it once was?

I don't know, but I like the idea of an adjustable pitch, so we could widen it for the easy games and then narrow it for the tricky games.

I'd suggest we bring the pitch in as much as possible against the All Blacks in the AIs!

No extra seating and I'm not sure if the grass area is now wider.

More space for Visser = more tries (for both sides).

Well I don't think even Tim Visser's Mum could claim his defence is anything other than feeble.

He'll still score a bunch of tries next though. He's like DTH, only better.

I love Glasgow. They don't take any shoite in that part of the world

Classic stuff. Good to see useless administration is found everywhere. Actually, I could envisage that taxi driver in Australia albeit without the swearing panache. If you google rheem answer phone message you could get a taste of how the conversation might go.
