MatchRoom Fight Pass
First topic message reminder :
Along with announcing the signing of Macklin today with a Dublin show scheduled for August, MatchRoom have announced a new 'Fight Pass' scheme. Some of you may have seen it but it's not been covered on here as far as I can see. Basically £30 a year membership will allow you to view 10 extra shows per year via HD streaming on MatchRoom.com which they will do in conjunction with other promotors such as Dave Caldwell, Steve Goodwin and Steve Wood. It also includes access to training footage, archive fights and a magazine show headed by iFL. Members also get priority booking for all MatchRoom boxing events.

Also, here is the MatchRoom schedule for the autumn (doesn't include the other promotors shows which will be streamed on the Fight Pass):
http://m.espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=dan-rafael&id=9772&src=desktop&rand=ref~%7B%22ref%22%3A%22http%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2FAFnPLYdWI5%22%7D
Good to see that other less mainstream promotors will now get exposure for their shows, and for the die hard boxing fan obviously the more viewable fights there are the better. Of course it comes at a cost, but £30 a year isn't much, a quarter of the cost of a BoxNation subscription.
So what d'you think gents, is this a goer or not?

A free t-shirt!!! AMAZING!
I wasn't going to order it but now I know that I'm definitely signing up! Think we should all get it and meet up with our Hearn t-shirts for a 606 group photo which can be uploaded onto here for Strongback to see...think his head would blow up with disgust!
Although the more I think about it, why do I need to order it...me, paul, damien and the rest of the V2 team can just have a word with our good old pal Eddie and get a few for free!

I would go for this if there was an iPad app, a user friendly one with good interface that allowed you to access all the content and stream fights on the iPad (which I'd connect to the TV). Everything in one place. If you had to access the MatchRoom website and so it all via desktop I'm not sure I could be fussed (god that's a 21st century mentality if ever there was one, imagine living in the days when you had to get up to change the channel on your telly).

You're really on the ball when it comes to matchroom press releases.
I could keep one of those t-shirts in a cupboard for the day I run out of bog roll.

That's what you tell us, I reckon you'd get it out, slick your hair back and (whilst holding a brush) stand in front of a mirror pretending to be Eddie being interviewed.

I'll never dress up as a metrosexual like Eddie.
