Can't agree with that. I'd still have Schwein over Khedira.

I'd take Matthaus over all three.

Khedira will always come second to Schweinsteiger and Ballack.

Matthaus best was before my time but I remember him in the 99 final smug bastard thought he'd won it after he got subbed off.

Interesting.

Afro I think you would be great in a defensive midfield role, let's make it happen. Let's get in contact with Everton.

Laugh

Miky, if you make that happen I will give you all my good players in swap for your rubbish ones.

And love you forever.

I think these days I might be more in the Jan Molby role where I don't have to run around very much

Afro I meant it as a compliment by the way, just to confirm OK

What about a NSL first 11 who would be in it and what position? This could be fun.

I was useless at football, was centre back on the team but purely down to being 6ft 2 and not being afraid to stick my foot out.

Opta wise De Vrij made the World Cup team.
BBC wise Giancarlo Gonzalez was in ahead of both...

What position do you play Miky?

I know Olly would be our keeper as he plays in goals, before my career ending knee injury I was a ball winning centre  half with underrated ball retention skills, despite my 5'9 height I could contest with 6ft plus players in the air, I wasn't the quickest but my reading of the game meant I was very rarely found wanting in those situations. I was brave as lion and strong as an on, I've been robbed of my prime.

Azzy
?-Miky-?
Afro-?
?-Trebs-Viva-?
Hero

Azzy up front because he'd be Muller/Tevez style annoying to play against, and he needs to be far away from Viva to concentrate on the game
Miky would ghost into the gap between the midfield and defense
Afro laying down the law in CM, and also getting between Azzy and Viva.
Trebs and Viva have shown a strong partnership in defending anything United related, which is why hero plays in goal.

I used to play left and right back for my Sunday league team Viva and I was sometimes moved forward into midfield on the left or right and I was okay at it I think.

I like that setup GSC. I like my role.

This plane thing is a bit of a playground argument isn't it?

Ukraine: You did it!
Russia: No we didn't, you did!

I'm not flying Malaysian in my lifetime, but then by look of it I couldn't fly it next week if I wanted to. They be going down faster than Olly's mum.

You'd expect people to have some discretion regarding what they blow up in the sky, but clearly they don't.

It probably should have been a no fly zone though. More tragic because it was so avoidable.

I think we will never find out, but I suspect shoot down a plane full of civilians and blame the other side to make them look bad

I think the aviation authorities had declared it a safe route too
