Norwich could do with a player like that i.e. one that scores goals.

Just seen that Chico Flores has left Swansea to go and play in Qatar for Michael Laudrup's side. Leaves Swansea short of centre backs.

We should have never sold him. Had a great run in the team in 06/07. Would have learnt so much from Makelele if he stayed.

Rafael is the only surprise of those, whilst he had a poor season last year a move to a WB role rather than a traditional FB would I thought have suited him. Presume Cuadrado is on his way in.
Hernandez is rumoured to be being used as makeweight on Vidal with Juve.

I'm hoping he got taken off as a precaution. This is why I thought we should have bought a replacement for Vermaelen before letting him go.

Well if he's out for a while we're going to have to splash that 15m on a top defender, Can't have Mertesacker & Monreal/Chambers it would be suicidal.

Going to be an even bigger overhaul than I thought if it's true and likewise think Rafael has a role to play, not overly keen on having wingers playing wing back to be honest, would rather play 4-3-3, 3-5-2 just seems too rigid.

I suspect they'll push again for Carvalho who can play CB as well as DM.

This is something i considered the other day but i expect he wouldn't be happy bench sitting when Koscielny comes back. Im expecting Arsene to go after a DM who can play CB like Javi Martinez/Alex Song etc

Drop Mertesacker and play a CB who can actually move would be my advice.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Window Thread
Be surprised if Rafael went. Can't always play with 3 cb's and 2 wing backs, will come a time when we need to switch formation so will need two players who know the fb role rather than a winger filling in like Valencia has done in the past.
I expect this week that utd will make some moves in the transfer market, as well as players leaving the club.

At this moment in time, Song wouldn't be the worst option, as like you said he can play both roles. I haven't seen enough of William Carvalho, but £25m plus is an all lot of money for someone who's only played one full season in the Portuguese top flight.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Window Thread
I'd be surprised if Agger does end up going to Arsenal, but wouldn't be surprise to see them put in a bid. Would hope 1. the club doesn't sell to a direct rival and 2. Agger doesn't want to play for another English club. He was going to move to Barcelona where he would likely end up on the bench so maybe he thinks he is talented enough to force his way into the side.

If Utd didn't end up with Vidal then he'd be the next best thing, I suspect if Moyes had remained he'd already be at Utd as he was scouted heavily last season.

Nothing can ever be more months than weeks
Although it could be a number of months plus a couple weeks so your grammatical mistakes actually end up making awful sense
