Jamie Moore shot in Spain

According to Sky News anyway.

Shot in leg and hip apparently.

A few of us are heading out to the MGM Marbella in February, may have to invest in some body armour!

Lot of underworld characters in Marbella, read some things about the MGM. Maybe not the best environment to be working in if any truth in the rumours.

Always liked Jamie Moore, hopefully things work out for him. Just seems like a guy that would not end up being a gunshot victim.

Thought the same Strongy although had no idea that Marbella had that kind of underground or reputation looking from afar.

Supposedly a case of mistaken identity but who's the dippy twonk who pulled the trigger FIVE times before he realised he was shooting the wrong fella?

Crazy, crazy news. Lucky that it wasn't worse though I suppose, hope he has a full and quick recovery!

If you read this article it gives you a flavour of the types of things being reported about Macklin in Irish newspapers on a regular basis.

Macklin is mixing with some of the most notorious criminals and drugs barons operating in Ireland. Marbella is a haven for criminals as the Spanish turn a blind eye and extradition law is very lax. The gangsters have got into managing fighters and are training at the MGM.

I'm very surprised by Macklin, either he is very naive or he is happy to run around with extremely dodgy characters for his own reasons.

Apparently Moore was leaving a villa owned by the son of one Irelands biggest criminals. Someone else was the target but it does look like Moore and Macklin are friendly with some major crooks.

Maybe they mistook Moore for macklin - hence the cancellation

Surely the gunman would have been told "Shoot the guy dressed like a Leprechaun" (Macklin's Oirish isn't he and everyone in Ireland dresses that way all the time don't they...or am I stereotyping unfairly...again?)
