Keeper Rules

- 3 players per year max.
- Can keep players twice (so three years total per guy) before forcible release.
- Players take the value of their draft round in the first redraft.
- Players move up in value by 5 rounds for the second redraft, or as high as they can go otherwise.
- If you end up with stacked picks (multiple players as keepers who count as the same round) they build up backward. e.g. if my keepers are draft picks 3, 4 and 5, I would lose draft picks 3, 4 and 5 in the first redraft and 1, 2 and 3 in the second as each player would be upgraded to an effective 1st rounder by the 5 round rule and therefore stack up.
- Undrafted players are valued at round 10 for the first redraft.
- Traded players initially count as there drafted position with the +5 rule in effect for all subsequent years.
- Years of eligibility are team specific, based on the round value of the player when traded to you. e.g. if a player is drafted in round 12 and is kept by another team for one season they will be valued as a round 7 pick when traded in year two due to the +5 rule.
- Abuse of the above rule by trading away a player over the keeper period only to get them back afterward will invalidate the resetting of two year eligibility.
- Once a player has no eligibility left on a given team they will count as a 1st rounder if traded away to somebody else and retained

Not looking good atm, might be my first loss for 7 weeks and it comes in the playoffs! Bad week for some players to have an off day

Well having lost to Forward Pass for 3 straight years in the West League playoffs, it looks like I could finally catch a break in the Keeper League thanks to Aaron Rodgers and his shambles... there is still time to throw it away though...

Uh oh, I picked a bad day to not check my team on a Sunday afternoon. Completely missed that Ryan Matthews was a doubt and ended up being inactive. I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me. If I squeeze through then it'll be more because I'll have caught Take it to the House's team on a bad day than anything I did.

Great job again though by Le'Veon Bell.

To make matters worse, I gambled on the wrong underachieving TE by playing Reed instead of Ertz.... Ertz of course went on to set a franchise record of 15 receptions last night.

Well, my fantasy team and I picked the perfect time to lay a collective egg. At least Dave's team got a high enough score to make sure I wasn't left looking at all the points I left on my bench and thinking "If only".

To those who have said yes already, can you please think about firming up your keepers for the season. Deadline will be a few weeks away, but if you have something in place your less likely to caught missing a deadline because your not about.

Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles, Drew Brees, LeSean McCoy and Brandon Marshal must be released due to league rules.

Only way I can think of is to go to history then draft info. You would then have to look through everything to find that particular round for the player though.

Yes you can only see either your draft or the whole league
Don't think you can see any waiver history
But anybody not drafted just counts as round ten

Crazy Dave - I don't have broadband at the moment on account of me moving house and Sky being too incompetent to ensure that everything transferred over properly. I only have access to the Internet on my phone at the moment and the NFL.com website only comes up as the mobile version so I can't do my keepers.... I can't even see my roster from last year to remember who I had!! I'd have liked to have set some keepers - anything you can do to help??

Cool. I get into issues because it obviously kicks onto GM mode in certain load screens so I see all... I will be moving all of the rounds manually
