We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
First topic message reminder :
such a shame Strootman got injured before the world cup. Think he'd be at the club otherwise. He should have been here last summer along with thiago but we ballsed it up and ended up with fellaini.

Shall be an interesting game Everton & Chelsea. First time up against a top half side for Chelsea impressed against Burnley & Leicester so should be a good game.
Everton (to face Chelsea): Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka (c), Coleman, Barry, McCarthy, McGeady, Naismith, Mirallas, Lukaku.
Chelsea line-up today: Courtois; Ivanovic, Terry (c), Cahill, Azpilicueta: Fabregas, Matic; Ramires, Hazard, Willian;, Costa.

Three out of three for Swansea. Monk's nailed on to win his first manager of the month award.

And on replay - i dont think wilfs offside goal was offside.
fair result on reflection though. Buzzing even if we didn't get the win.

We didn't deserve to win. We are awful up front & defensively not that great either. need tiote back for more defensive strength & need a striker ASAP. Aarons has great potential. 2 points from 3 games, having played a woeful Villa & a average Palace side. Pretty poor start to the season. Good to see Zaha on the scoresheet, even though it cost us the win. Big season for the lad.

arron got you the draw- no doubts- you are a better team than that as others should have pitched in- but it was a cracking game - end to end stuff.

Di maria 60 million
What is mind boggling is that in the last year or so United have spent 27million on Fellaini,36 million on Mata, and god knows what on Di maria a hundred ten million on 3 players and they worse than they were before. Mind boggling really, still early in the day but they are simply not very good right now after a record breaking expenditure on three players in the last 12 months.

How can a club like Everton, who normally are run so well have such a poorly organised pre-season and it's costing them now in games as they tire late on.

Not sure how you can justify that, Crimey, they are going toe-to-toe and their start was definitely the problem

They only played six games, lost them all and have clearly ran out of gas in all of their first three games. This one is not as pronounced as the first two, but still definitely there.

I'd give it more credence if two of them werent Arsenal and Chelsea. Even more so cos the first game was away at a newly promoted side.

Credit to Chelsea, can't say they are boring this year. Costa has given them exactly what they needed. Wake up and add a striker Arsene. We could have had Cesc as well. Hate to say this but they look a shoe in for the title.

Chelsea will probably walk the league this year. Similar to how United did in 2013.
They would have won last year if they had a quality CF. Now they've got Costa who seems to fit them like a glove.

Bit soon to be anointing Chelsea as Champions. Yes, they've started the season brilliantly, but they done so in the past few years and fallen away.
