First topic message reminder :
such a shame Strootman got injured before the world cup. Think he'd be at the club otherwise. He should have been here last summer along with thiago but we ballsed it up and ended up with fellaini.

Need to get the win, going into a 2 week break.
Same team again.
Would have liked to see Bent start. Gabby or Weimann need dropping.
2-0 Weizmann
Great jinx Westi

That's a really bad miss that.
Free shot from 12 guards and hits it straight at the keeper.
Lovren starting to have a melt down.

Gerrard really needs to start being phased out of this Liverpool team, he's just not up to it anymore

Liverpool have battered Spurs, should be out of sight. Spurs' chances have come from some terrible mistakes from Lovren and Sakho.

We're the only side in the prem not to concede a goal.
Wonder what odds you would have got on that.

Lovren needs to trust Sakho a bit more I feel, a couple of mistakes have come from him trying to do something that Sakho was there to do.
Not sure what Gerrard can be criticised for, think he's marshalled the team well, passing has been decent.
Henderson has been the best player on the pitch for me, developing into my favourite player, think he's so intelligent and does all the right things. Hope he's named vice-captain now Agger has left.

Context almost definitely because Gerrard has also made more passes than any other Liverpool player...

Yeah the usual 3 yard passes from Gerrard that Carrick is so often criticised for...

Yes he was touched, but went down to easily and a few seconds after.

I take it dier is primarily a centre back?
Doesn't have a clue at fullback.

He lost his man and had a stupid tug at him.
Allen dived but he can't complain, stop being lazy and defend properly.
Dier let sterling go for the first too.

Dier has definitely been the weak link in the Spurs side, not comfortable at right back.

Glad spurs r being brought back to reality after two easy games. Dier being found out & Kaboul is woeful. Spurs still got issues up top, never a top 4 side.

Yeah to say Gerrard has been awful is a bit stupid. Just because he hasn't been the best player on the park doesn't mean he has been awful.

Dier is only 20, give him a break. He'll learn
Gerrard hasn't played well. I think it'd be in Liverpool's best interests if they started to phase him out and someone like Can in

Tottenham don't half have some absolutely duff players.
Rose, kaboul, dier (at fullback), bentaleb, capoue, Chadli are all terrible.
Lamela, adebayor lazy and inconsistent.
They've no hope of top 4.

Gerrard has done well, a solid 6-7 out of 10, if this is a bad performance, I'd love to see a good one.

If Sterling improves at the rate he has in the last two years he will be an exceptional player.
Also think Gerrard's experience is really important in a young side.

Look at that for defending for sterlings chance.
Vertongen tries to show him the line, except he leaves a huge gap to go inside, then dives in with his wrong foot for the tackle.
Spurs are just terrible.

To be fair, I do think 3-0 is flattering to Liverpool, even though we have played really well. Been impressed with the tackling in the box from Liverpool's defenders.

If spurs had done the basics like track runners and mark men they'd be behind by 1 at most and possibly level.

A front line of Sterling, Sturridge and Markovic would be an absolute nightmare to defend against. So much pace and skill.
