So a Northampton player sent you 2 messages about the comments I wrote criticising Northamptons coach I bet he was chuffed
Possibly explains why he didn't want to go public - talk about a minefield! Whatever he said ...
Morning all, just reading back it appears I may have had 1 too many anaesthetic vodkas last night. I managed to get a ball right on the end of my finger going for an intercept last night and have sprained the finger - shortly after my opposite number slapped that hand as I grabbed a rebound, I was so close to throwing a punch in retaliation to the pain it was scary (especially since the contact was accidental). To add to the injury I tweaked my hamstring again just before the end (it doesn't feel as bad as last week at least). And we wound up losing by one as the game was ended by an injury when we had possession, our other defender tripped over our centre's foot and sprained her elbow when she hit the concrete

Oh Hobo I understand Twitter. I just am imagining Days comments about it.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Can I ask who Lionman97 is on twitter? They just wrote something really nice about the forum.

Morning all.
I dip in and out of Twitter. Half the time no one I follow has said anything of interest. It must be quite an ego massage for celebritites with loads of followers, though.

Kiwi - that doesn't sound like a very nice evening! Hope you recover from your injuries quickly
Hobo - not got a clue who that is.
And why are tv's so expensive This is going to take away the money I was saving this month for a season ticket
But still, I'll have my Sky package set up and actually have decent tv and internet for a change, so every cloud like....

Dreamer I recommend if you can getting LED technology. The use less electricity, they aren't all that more expensive, they are less likely to break or fail than other kinds of tellys and they give a better standard of picture.
I bought a great TV recently for just over €300

What did Day say? Go on, tell us. Was a good article by Stag, got some good debate going. It's just like the old days before WUMS took over the world!

TV's aren't that expensive are they? You jus gotta wait for the right time. Summer sales seem to be the best. I picked up a 42" LG plasma from comet last August for £380. That with sky HD, watching sport is awesome.

Stag - aye, I was looking at all the LED ones, and they seemed the best of the bunch.
I know for some people that tv's probably aren't that expensive but for me looking at the prices is making me go
Ah well, might just have to ask the parents for some early birthday money! Aha and have just remembered my flatmate owes me about £80 for bills...ah this won't be so bad

Could you all please vote on the aviva final - got to make the poll look good for those looking in!¬

Hobo, shouldn't you be asking permission from the authors of articles before you tweet them?

Should I? Most probably right!
Anyone have any objections of me tweeting their articles?
Sorry to anyone I have upset - I can recall anything that I have posted that anyone wants back.

I can't see a problem to be honest Hobo. people write articles here because they want people to comment, and you tweeting the links is just a way of drumming up interest.
Good work I'd say.

Fortunately you havent written anything worthwhile tweeting
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Hobo - I don't write anything worth Tweeting.
I just read what Portnoys wrote, and it really doesn't look like an apology really considering he was so rude to everyone. Anyway, I'm over it.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'm not bothered by it. You're writing stuff in a public forum, so it's out there anyway - the links are credited to your username, so it's not plagiarism. I was a bit flattered yesterday Hobo that you thought my article was worth sending out - and I like that you tell people you're doing it.
Having said that, should I ever write something I didn't want tweeted I'd include a sentence to that effect somewhere

With regards to the tweeting - its for the benefit of the board - the more people who join, the better the debate.
I will of course ask you Pedestration should I think about tweeting an article of yours. Or I may just not tell you

There'll be other meet ups. Heineken Cup starts again soon. I've a mini meet up in August with Rava and Notch - Ireland are playing France.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Yes Stag, that would be great. Especially if we could get along to the game the night before.

Ah for sure there will, I'm meeting up with Asbo, and I think Hughje, Hound and Kiwi on Friday at London Scottish, should be good.
I shall try to get a couple of articles written today if I can get the kids to have a nap this afternoon, I've not written anything for an age!

Of course you can say it - I think it was the right thing to do. If anybody ever wants to discuss anything with me or the other admin/ mods, please feel free.
This is not 606 where we are faceless - we are fans as well. Hopefully you think of me as a poster first, admin second, your worst enemy third

What bar stools? In Newport, you sit on the floor and you're grateful if there's a carpet!
I've just read this on the BBC website, really interesting stuff:

I moved from Newport over 10 years ago! From the arson capital of the UK to the knife capital (Glasgow!)
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I don't know when my next meet will be. I was talking to a couple of the Dublin based regs about heading over to the GAA in the summer though Also depends on my work situation. Speaking of which, next month I'm spending a week in another office to see how I get on....
