When does this come out on PS4?

Haven't brought a Wrestling game since Smackdown vs Raw 2011. Will probably get it. Is it suppose to be any good?

If its anything like the last couple it wont be that good though. The lack of a story driven career mode has killed the last couple. Idnt enjoy the wrestlemania moments or the monday night wars game modes. Hate being limited to who I have to go

Apparently the new career mode is alot more indepth. Replacing the story modes is the "Rivalry focus" thing or whatever they're calling it. Basically like the Attitude Era but focuses on Shawn Michaels vs Triple H and CM Punk vs John Cena. Would be good to revisit them.

1st vid of the making of released earlier and it looks really good, a big step up for the new gen consoles.

Apparently it will have a career mode where you start in NXT and work up

Yes & The career mode coming up from NXT

WWE 2K15 will feature a 2K Showcase career mode that spotlights two wrestling rivalries in WWE's history, 2K Sports announced. The mode will focus on the feud between Triple H and Shawn Michaels from 2002 to 2004 as well as the more recent rivalry between CM Punk and cover star John Cena from 2011 to 2013. CM Punk's contract with WWE recently ended, so the Chicago-born wrestler's inclusion in the upcoming game was previously in question.

The 2K Showcase mode will span 33 matches across the two rivalries in a mini-documentary style similar to WWE 13's Attitude Era mode and 30 Years of WrestleMania in WWE 2K14, complete with video packages and scripted commentary as well as historically-accurate characters and events. By playing through the rivalry mode, players will unlock wrestlers, alternate attire and championship titles that can be accessed throughout the rest of the game. Additionally, 2K Sports will build on the 2K Showcase mode after the game's launch by introducing more rivalries as DLC packs, though it did not say what feuds will be included (fingers crossed for Heath Slater's series of losses in 2012 to various WWE legends)

That sounds awful.

2k14 was excellent. Best game in years. If you are late 20s/early 30s you'd probably love it.

I think the last two games with the Attitude Era and the 30 years of Wrestlemania have been great ideas and have worked much better than the 'Road to Wrestlemania' careers or the ones where they try to write stories, as they always end up being really crap. If they're not going to come up with a updated style of career mode that they had in the early Smackdown games then I would rather they focused on allowing you to play through historical matches. Seems this game has the best of both worlds to be fair.

The best thing about them is just playing with friends anyway.

I definitely think that the last two games have been great. But 2K took the ball and have so far done a better job than THQ ever did. I'm looking forward to this one, and I love the idea of taking your created superstar from NxT to the main roster in what I guess is a career mode I'm hoping that they release an NxT DLC if they aren't on the main roster for a cheap price.

The one where you can start in NXT and make your way up is a next-gen exclusive by the way.

Shame GM mode isn't apart of the of the new features on this year's game. It may have been 2009? when ECW were apart of the roster when I actually last played any of the WWE games but it was GM Mode which had me hooked as I really liked the draft and booking side of the show.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think GM mode as been back on it since.

It's kind of a part of the Universe mode.

I see a lot of nostalgia for the GM mode, but do think people forget that it was generally quite poor and the booking mechanisms didn't really work.

Completely agree Crimey. I always thought that the GM Mode would return in some capacity with some improvements, still the concept was appealing but I guess I will continue to wait and see if it makes a return in 2K16

Yeah I only used to play it for GM mode it was always the best part

I'm really looking forward to this game, the graphics look unreal and it seems like the little things they've added which will make it brilliant...for instance I saw footage of Orton hitting his finisher when he was tired and instead of standing up and walking to make the cover he crawled over, I really feel like effort has been made by 2K to add a hint of realism this year.

The rivalry mode will be cool but I've never been too fussed about the story modes over the last two games, I like the fact that they're focusing on two rivalries only though as I felt as if last year there was no emotional attachment to the story like there was with the Attitude Era mode. I've heard that there will be DLC for other rivalries too, I assume a Rock/Austin one and then probably Taker/Kane or maybe even Flair/Sting as he'll be in the game.

The main thing for me this year is career mode, I like universe mode but it's never captured my attention like career modes have, the idea that NXT will be in the game is awesome too and from what I've seen we'll be getting NXT guys...someone reported that in part of the coding on a video 2K posted the name 'Zayn' was clearly seen...this could mean that Sami Zayn helped mo-cap the game or it could even mean that Sami Zayn will be in a NXT roster as we still don't have the full roster just yet and if he's in it would that mean we'd get Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze, Paige, Emma or the Ascension?
