The Hottest Topic In Tennis!
There is one topic in tennis that is guaranteed to generate interest. Since 2005 tennis fans have enjoyed the ongoing discussion about who is the best Roger or Rafa . Of course there is no question that both are great players but in sport there is no fun in a tie and almost everyone with even a passing interest in tennis has an opinion on which player is the best. Nadal and Federer have played their part in fueling this fascinating debate by producing statistics that make it difficult to crown a clear winner. This of course means the matter is wide open for debate
To demonstrate the popularity of this topic I've used the number of comments that recent articles drew in The Guardian.

It's worth pointing out the obvious but Nadal didn't even play in the US Open but still this article generated by far the most interest. Here at 606v2 it is just the same. Most interest is generated by the hottest topic in tennis.

Re: The Hottest Topic In Tennis!
The amount of posts though does not make something worth crowing about.
By this it doesn't mean that tennis fans aren't/weren't more interested in Cilic winning the US Open for example. All it means is that it is a topic with two differing parties both vociferously arguing their point for Federer or Nadal often going around in circles and hence the post count is sure to soar. Neither party wants the other to have the last say so the whole debate drags on and on and on and ....... zzzzzz.

Should this not just be a comment on the other thread?
