To "dob" usually refers to someone telling on someone else.

"I can't believe you dobbed me in." for example.

Dialect is weird in the UK though, my mate went off to the army and came back with a billion words that I've not heard of.

He was based in Reading somewhere, but he was basically with a group of angry northerners and a few southerners from other places.

A rundown on my favourite words:

Redders - to be hot
Threadders - to not have much money and/or be in a bad state
Madhead - someone wacky or prone to wackiness
Doggers - when something has gone wrong or particularly badly
Scran - food
Blurt - to make a hasty exit

There are probably more but I've not seen him for a few weeks.

I don't really get the comments on the Liverpool game tbh. I thought it was fairly even, apart from our final delivery was pants.

But I am not expecting anything from the United game. After our last Europa League game we were pathetic versus Palace. And that was at home following a home game against Wolfsburg. Now we are travelling back from Russia and playing away.

I can see United scoring 3 or 4 against us if I am completely honest.

Man Utd v Everton

[*]West Ham v QPR

West Ham vs QPR is the Sunday afternoon centrepiece!

See I didn't see that. They tried to attack them and McCarthy was playing further forward than I have ever seen him play for us. The real problem was that we didn't play well so lacked the cutting edge. Coleman is a massive miss with our style of play as it makes it easier to cope with us as you only have to worry about 1 wing.

He does that occasionally if he sees a weakness on the wide area of the defence.

He did it against Arsenal this year and last year, and Lukaku had a field day against Monreal and Mertesacker both times, coming inside from a wider position and running with the ball.

I guess he saw the opportunity with Moreno liking to get forward.

Problem is it works better with Coleman playing as he occupies defenders on that flank and it gives Lukaku more space. Hibbert is never going to worry defenders (apart from his own CBs)

Got to be close. He was at the club before Moyes joined us!

He is an okay defender, but I never thought he'd start for us again. It's only because Stones is doing so well at CB that Hibbert is getting a game. When Coleman is injured, I'd like to see him play the young kid Browning over Hibbo really.

Hibbert is comfortable and happy, playing for the club he supports, on good money, comes training knows he won't play unless injuries and suspension goes home spends time with wife and kids.
