Another one, horrible swipe from Herath and Dar gives him out LBW, Swann and Tremlett have four each, and SL are 8 wickets down. That really was brainless from Herath I'm afraid. Replays show it just about hit in line and was smashing into middle and off, so no complaints there.

If it's any consolation I have played in a side that needed 28 to win with 8 wickets in hand and lost by 20 runs. So this collapse isn't that bad...

Tremlett and swann have been masterful not sure its a great move taking tremlett out....

What a test match, batting, bowling and catching was all outstanding

so much for the "England should use the opportunity to get some batting practice" line eh, Brilliant bowling from the England boys, in Anderson's absence they all stood up to be counted, and Swann proved once again why he is the best spinner on the planet.

That's one of the most remarkable finishes to a test match in years. This kind of performance is what makes test cricket the best form of the game.

The India series we'll find it how good England really are and signs so far for that series are looking good. Only a matter of time before we become the number 1 Test side.
