First topic message reminder :
Probably much easier to get motivated to play for AC Milan than QPR. But I agree with Crimey (for once ), Taarabt should be fired for misconduct if this is true.

What's wrong with getting carried away and a little crowing anyway? We're all prone to that, unless we are Ent
When Liverpool win the Champions League this year you lot are getting it!
It's great seeing the likes of West Ham and Soton up there. Romance aint quite dead yet.

No worries Dolph.
We've passed it round well again tonigh, just no end product.
The problem with us is we beat ourselves as much as other teams beat us.
Giving silly balls away,,school boy defending.
Both of those have cost us tonight.
P155es me off to be honest.
Pretty fed up with it.
Just on a bad run, these are the teams we need to be picking up points against.
Last season I would go off on one about certain players, just cant be bothered.
I love Villa, but we are such a frustrating team to support.
I am 100 per cent confident we will stay up though..

If villa had any sort of final ball they'd have won this by 3 or 4. Haven't put a good cross in all night

Also pretty impressive that since villa gave lambert a new deal they've lost five in a row and haven't scored.

Villa have enough to stay up, the transfer window added a few good things to a team that underachieved a few years in a row. I like Villa, I like the front three especially and I like Lambert. Premier League would be a poorer place without em.
And hell yes I'll crow, gotta enjoy this while I can!

Its going to be a dog fight lads.
If palaces new owner comes in before transfer he may invest . but otherwise we are in a dog fight...
Villa, Sunderland , QPR, west brom, leicester and burnley are the others.

No chance WBA, good squad of technically sound players + they have the vital goalscorer in Berahino.
It's Burnley & then two from QPR, Leicester, Sunderland, Palace & Villa but I expect Villa, when Benteke regains full fitness & Delph returns, they should be fine.

As would Sessegnon, Morrison, Brunt, Ideye, Anichebe, Dorrans, Gardner & McAuley from corners. So your original post of WBA being in trouble, if Berahino failed to score, was pretty pointless. I just don't appreciate people putting down Berahino or doubting his true ability.

You might want to see who scored against Palace this weekend mate. If he's mentioning Carroll & Nolan stepping up, who both haven't scored this season, the I'll add Anichebe, who's actually scored this season. Thankyou.

Least he replied to someone else this time. Hey, its not like Carroll hasnt played yet or Nolan has been out injured long term.
Nice to see you personally offended for Berahino, not like its his first real run of goalscoring. Not like West Brom looked awful before he got goals.
Need to knock that chip off your shoulder, boy

I have just heard that the palace takeover american's NBA team is being fined for not paying the minimum amount in salary....!!!
Not good signs at all.
Why does he want palace?
We wont get a no.1 draft pick next year for being rubbish like you do in the NBA
Dont do it Parish, long and co.. Don't sell us out.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who has travelled forward in time!
I hope the owners at Palace do due diligence, as should the FA. More so now after the mess of Birmingham. Gold and Sullivan claim their innocence, but surely someone could have found out enough about the new owner there to sort it out. Not something Palace deserve and the FA especially should be protecting clubs that are not only institutions but also protecting the fans from the sad fates that can occur from messed up takeovers.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
Palace bottom 3 for sure with this news.
The annoying thing is our owners at present are true palace fans.
Martin long (who i have spoken to on occasion) used to go to every single away game for years..
I hope Parish is right to say the deal isnt done yet and therefore wont be done. Other sources are saying it will be done soon.
But either way we wont buy our way out of trouble.
I just dont get why this owner wants palace?
he doesn't spend , but then neither do the owners at present- but they are fans- they understand you cant just throw 100m at a club and guarantee a long term spot in the PL.
I would rather have fans that dont spend over an American owner that has zero idea about this game that doesn't spend.
I think he is only looking at it as an investment. the assets we have are probably worth slightly over 70m and even if we go down there is the tube line coming soon which will increase the teams reach and land value and the actual 'crystal palace' may be rebuilt by a rich Chinese businessman soon- which could put palace right back on the map.. The town itself is actually very much on the up. studio flats are being sold for a lot of money- when the tube gets there add on another 50%

Not the English thing, I just dont think hes 20 goal a season good yet, so there will be a period, as with most young strikers, when he'll dry up. Not even a criticism particularly, just happens. And I'm not about the rest of the attack

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
how many strikers do you know at lower clubs in the PL that are 20 a goal per season strikers?
They dont exist, and they dont exist for a reason. They dont get the opportunities.
base young strikers on the percentage of chances converted and against what opposition. Its the only way.
