First topic message reminder :
Probably much easier to get motivated to play for AC Milan than QPR. But I agree with Crimey (for once ), Taarabt should be fired for misconduct if this is true.

You only have to see that run from Sissoko to see why Liverpool need to get rid of Gerrard. Able to run right at the heart of the defence without any challenge, Gerrard nowhere in sight.

Well, De Jong is injured and he always has to integrate new lads cos anyone any good gets sold. Cabella is settling in but I think hes a decent player, but Pards has got em back up after all the pressure, Cisse looking better, Obertan has even been alright.
I think if they gave Pards a chance to work with more of his own targets then he'd do what hes always done and brought in good young players and has a great eye for talent in the lower leagues

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
The reaction for lambert and pardew 1 month ago compared to today are polar opposites....
Liverpool are getting beat in every department bar crucially the scoreline.
This is were Rodgers needs to man up at half time. They need to be pressing for the ball back and getting ready quicker on the counter and spot the passes. The players need to show more effort. If my team were playing like this(palace) I would be screaming at them. But this is Liverpool. Its pittifull.

Nothing will change mysti, A lot of matches when we are being outplayed I'm convinced BR says to them at half time "just keep doing what you're doing lads", because we tend to just play exactly the same way!

Gerrard is the only one who picks it up when Liverpool go poor. I'm convinced Rodgers isnt managing him right

Could do with Allen and Johnson being replaced. Will no doubt instead replace coutinho and Henderson for no apparent reason though.

You spend £120 million in the transfer window and you're relying on Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert to bail you out.

YESSSSSSSS! What a win boys! Three wins on the bounce & Pardew deserves serious credit. Only six points off Southampton

Fair result, great performance Newcastle, chuffed for Pards.
Liverpool a worry. Not just losing games, but no spark

Borini, who Rodgers tried his upmost to get rid of during the summer.
A Europa League spot at best this season. And I wouldn't bet my oldest pair of pants on that happening.
Well done Toon, mind Helluva turnaround.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
Newcastle stuck by their manager, liverpool should do the same but no doubt after the champions league game in a few days people will be asking for rodgers to go. I genuinely think he is a likeable guy too but reading all the liverpool/rogers/gerrard hate on here makes me think im in the minority with these things :/
I do agree he has only made 2 good signings in his stay at liverpool. Now that is worrying

Rodgers is going no where.
and rightly so. he does need to wake up mind. I have an inkling(as maybe many others do) that balotteli is bringing the team morale down.

I think sturridge returning will lift any lost morale. But who knows what situation they will be in when that happens.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
I only said it would lift morale.
By fixing their defensive issues they wouldnt need to "replace Suarez". They needed him to thump in the goals because they were conceding so many at the back.
On a different note, Southampton

good comeback at a tough ground, showed the doubter wrong that there is more to WHU than Sakho.

Credit Hughes for his use of Bojan, was the best player on the pitch.
Feels like a win, playing so badly for periods and 2-0 down at Stoke only to get a good draw. Feel that will do as much for the lads' confidence as the win against City

Alexis Sanchez is in rich form. Really does go to show no matter what your deficiencies, you just don't turn down quality at affordable prices

Arsenal starting to build, Sanchez playing great football double digit goals already this year. Good to see theo get out there and I hope Arsene starts finding a place for Podolski. The guy makes things happens and scores goals when he plays.

They each give us something different mysti, if you keep Podolski and that cannon left foot out there he is bound to get you goals. I really don't understand how we can't find more of a role for him.
