First topic message reminder :

Probably much easier to get motivated to play for AC Milan than QPR. But I agree with Crimey (for once Wink ), Taarabt should be fired for misconduct if this is true.

Fk that.

Yes stupid from Tekkers,  but that little weasel Mason whoever he is should have gone. How the ref, linesman or 4th official didn't see what he did is a joke.

Should have be a goal up before we were.

People wnking over Kane's goal. Err Guzan would have caught it if ir wasn't deflected.

Disappointing week for the Villa.
Don't think we deserved to lose either game, but thats how it go's.

West Ham away next week.

Despite losing, we put in a proud performance. No arguments with the referee, Smalling was stupid to go in with the yellow hovering over him.

I thought Januzaj looked threatening, Rooney had his moments and Fellaini finally looks like he fits in. Van Persie wasn't very inspiring and I agree with the others, Di Maria is much better centrally.

---------------De Gea---------------
Rafael----Carrick---Evans----Shaw
----------------Blind-----------------
---------Fellaini------Di Maria-------
-----------------Mata----------------
-----------Rooney----RVP-----------

I feel the narrow side suits us more, shame not to start Januzaj but he can make a difference coming off the bench.

Good smash and grab win for Spurs there, Villa were definitely unlucky as they looked like they'd definitely win until the red card. I'm sure Pochettino won't be happy with the performance though, and they need to buck their ideas up if they want Europe.

I wasn't wnking over his goal, it was incredibly lucky. I just really like the player and was buzzing for the lad to show why he should be starting over Adebayor and Soldungo. He's English as well! Rare breed these days.

Not really the time because of the game thats on (which the weather is ruining for me somehow as my signal has made it an awful watch) but on Saturday 606 discussed whether Liverpool are in "transition". Can a team that finished 2nd last year be in transition?

Transition doesn't necessarily mean you are getting better...

Are southampton in transition?

Liverpool just overachieved in a poor league last season - they are just settling back to where their current squad belong.

yeah not sure transition is the right word, transition for me is when you have lost lots of senior players and are bringing new players in. they have brought plenty in but still have the same players who challenged for the title bar one

united are in transition, second new manager, lost giggs, scholes, rio, vidic, evra who have all been massive parts of our winning teams in the past

Louis van Gaal admits that he feels ‘lousy’ over Manchester United’s poor start to the season and warned that it could take 'three years' for him to get it right at Old Trafford.

haha, poor Louis! Keep looking at that clipboard of yours & moaning about injuries & your defence. £150m+ spent & now you 'need' more time. boooo hooooooo!!!!! Moyes' could of turned that job around in three years, I thought you were some god of a manager with a CV unmatched. Embarrassing stuff.

Something about 3... Its stuck in his head. At first it was 3 games, then 3 months , now 3 years.

Up the palace.. 1-0. Tommorow and LVG will be sick as a dog. He might go to 3 decades.

Don't feel sorry for him, he knew what he was taking on & then committed serious errors, in not bolstering a quite obvious frail backline. I hear he's also doubting Falcao has fully recovered from this knee injury & looks off the pace in training - hinting this permanent deal might not be 'done' as some people have reported. RVP/Falcao have probably seen their best days behind them, throw in Rooney nearing 30 & dropping into midfield roles, United might be needing serious strengthening up front next summer.

I'd imagine they expected to spend big again next summer anyway. Marquee names will be on the shortlist for a few years to recover the name and glory.

I do feel for him though, Jones, Rojo, Evans and Smalling can't keep themselves fit or on the pitch. Their defence is no worse than City, Liverpool or Arsenal, but their fitness certainly. Arsenal I lack a little sympathy for cos its not just quality theyve missed, but actual numbers.

That says more about the quality of defenders in that group than about United themselves. Kompany is the best defender outside of Chelsea and he is weak in a lot of areas too

Jonas Gutierrez will return to training with Newcastle next month after his all-clear from testicular cancer.

The 31-year-old revealed this week that doctors in Argentina have discharged him from hospital.

And United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that Gutierrez should be back on Tyneside in one month’s time.

They had a bit of a who's the best defender in the PL at the end of Monday Night Football, and interestingly Carragher and Neville both went for Azpilicueta as the best pure defender in the league. Any other suggestions?

Fernando wrote:Jonas Gutierrez will return to training with Newcastle next month after his all-clear from testicular cancer.

The 31-year-old revealed this week that doctors in Argentina have discharged him from hospital.

And United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that Gutierrez should be back on Tyneside in one month’s time.

Fantastic news for everyone associated to sport.

Yeah, fantastic news for Jonas. Hopefully, when he's back in full training & eventually match fit, we can send him back off to Carrow Road, where he can once more show off his undoubted ability & tear up the Championship. I'm sure Olly is salivating at the thought of the Spiderman returning to East Anglia. thumbsup

Rodgers starts with Balotelli and Lovren, clearly sending out the message to the fringe players that it doesn't matter how well they do, he will stick with his big signings to the end... Man is really starting to test my patience!
