Re: Anglo Welsh Round 2
Quick favour SJE,
The side I emailed includes Kruis and Olding who I didn't expect to make their countries squads. Should they be named could they be replaced in the match day squad by James Chisholm and Dan Bowden respectively?
Thanks

Re: Anglo Welsh Round 2
Exeter 23-21 Bath
Exeter have a bit more quality and experience in the pack to be able to take control of this one. I like the Bath halfbacks and their backline is probably a touch better than Exeter with Kahui hard to rate these days. Exeter at home and with a strong 1-10 take a small margin win though.
Harlequins 35-21 Newport
A couple of names I'm unsure of in the Quins side but a routine win against a pretty poor Dragons side.
Leicester 19-20 Sale
More in the scrum for Sale with a solid unit, big fan Slimani and should have took Mas's shirt by the WC. Not much in the back 5's after that with both quite impressive for the LV. Decent halfback partnerships, JJ has looked decent for Munster this seaon but pretty eaqual with Jackson who's been a little off. Sale's backs probably have a tiny edge although Sithole can be got at in defence a bit (exciting player though). Sale a bit more quality out sneak a good away win.
Newcastle 27-21 Cardiff
Routine win for Falcons with Cardiff not looking too great this season bar the last time out. Scrum especially can be got at.
Scarlets 19-17 Northampton
Some players I'm unsure of for Saints and a few that struggle to get rating (Pocock). Scarlets have looked strong when I've caught them this season and at home take the win. I'd fancy Saints in the opposite fixture.
Wasps 16-17 Irish
Wasps rotation and Irish going in a bit stronger. Irish take the front row but back 5's pretty close. I like the Irish half backs and they have the edge there and in the centres. Irish possibly set out a touch better for the conditions and with a strong scrum get the win.

Exeter 24-22 Bath
Bit more about the Chiefs packs and Boshoff a steady hand to steer the backs.
Quins 20-12 Dragons
More quality to the Quins pack overall and should over power the Dragons in bad conditions.
Welsh 15-28 Glaws
Strauss on Ireland's bench so Welsh a man down. Set piece don't see either winning out but Glaws stronger around the park and particularly 10,12,13.
Ospreys 22-18 Saracens
Know more about the Ospreys pack then some of the Sarries lads and with Biggar pulling the strings see the welsh side winning. (Sarries pulled short straw this week with the way the fixtures fell this year!)
Newcastle 24-19 Cardiff
Dom Barrow named twice so Falcons a man down. Falcons pack should get on top though and power in the midfield works well.
Scarlets 22-25 Northampton
Saints struggle to start off against a decent Scarlets side but bench is a class above and nicks it late.
Wasps 16-19 Irish
Bit more about the Irish back row. Both 10s a similar level and will direct the troops well but better ball in the conditions gives Williams the easier day.

Re: Anglo Welsh Round 2
Exeter 33 - 30 Bath
Nice sunny conditions for two teams with some great attacking players - Elliot could get a bit exposed playing at 15 for Bath, but home advantage and strong pack give them a good platform for the win.
Harlequins 19 - 14 Dragons
Steve has some of the best youngsters in the game, while Dragons have some really experienced heads - heavy conditions make it a hard game and not many points between the two. Quins have just the right balance of youth and experience to win.
Leicester 13-15 Sale
Really hard to split the teams in this one, the weather again stops a free flowing game - Welford Road a hard place to get a win, but did see TJ named twice for Tigers and think that Sale have a bit more ball carrying in the forwards.
London Welsh 23 - 26 Gloucester
Mat clearly has his eyes on winning this tournament with the team that's been selected, again some good quality throughout.
Newcastle 24-20 Cardiff
Liking how Driver has managed to clone Dom Barrow, again will be a close game due to Cardiff naming some experienced players, but conditions will help the Falcons youngsters, and Goode's running game could make all the difference...
Ospreys 15 - 9 Saracens
Heavy rain and away fixture make this a tough game for the Sarries youngsters, I'm not sure if their no2, 8, 9 and 10 have any AP experience so could find it hard going. Ospreys more experience for the win.
Wasps 15 - 15 Irish
Hardest game to call this week, very even in the pack battle, but the conditions again stop the game being an attacking spectacle of any sort. Just see a bit more experience and ball carriers in the Irish backline that gives them enough to get a hard fought draw against a much changed Wasps lineup.

Re: Anglo Welsh Round 2
Harlequins 22 - 16 Newport Gwent Dragons
Conditions make this a real tight gritty affair as the older experienced players from the Dragons pack use their experience. I can see Quins slowly gaining momentum throughout the game however, and they will secure a decent home win.
Leicester Tigers 16 - 19 Sale Sharks
Again the conditions inhibit the potential of two decent sides. Just feel that Sharks have a bit more dynamism and physicality in the pack to grind down the Tigers pack and steal a big away win.
London Welsh 19 - 25 Gloucester
Welsh put up a very good fight at home, but they are inexperienced in comparison to some of their opponents lining up against them. Matt has a strong side out, but this shows the difference in two very different squads.
Newcastle Falcons 22 - 14 Cardiff Blues
Tough trip for Blues to overcome to beat the Falcons. Despite being a player down, Falcons have the experience and know-how to put the Blues to the bed.
Ospreys 20 - 15 Saracens
Rain, an away trip and an inexperienced side for Sarries makes this an uphill struggle. As others have stated, I know of the the young Sarries lads, but they aren't quite to the standard yet - especially against a relatively strong O's side.
Wasps 17 - 20 London Irish
Heavy rain prevents any chance of free flowing rugby in this one. Bit more experience in the Irish pack and back line to help take the game to the Wasps, and I really see them edging this one and have created some real momentum recently.
Scarlets 16 - 27 Northampton Saints
Bit of a mis match for Scarlets, even despite a much changed and young Saints side. But they have the ability to put the welsh side away, as the saints keep on marching.
