Rusev and Lana have bought as a house together. TMZ seem shocked that a non-married couple are making such a purchase.

Just means we could be looking at five or six big entrances this year, which for me is too many.
Undertaker at Wrestlemania is bound to have one, would be surprised if Wyatt's isn't somewhat special as well.
Triple H usually pulls a big one out for 'Mania and Sting will have one before his first and possibly only WWE match.
Then you have Rusev and if Rusev has a big one you'd expect Cena would have a retort.

The only problem I can see with Undertakers entrance is the location of the event. Being on the West Coast and it being an outdoor venue means it wont be dark until very, very late in the event. We could have Undertaker coming out in the afternoon sun, which will take a fair bit away from the whole thing.
If memory serves me right Cena hasnt had a special entrance at Mania since 27. Might be wrong though.
Side note, anyone remember Cena's Mania 26 entrance with the marching band? Why were they playing God Save the Queen before they played Cena's song?

I like the big entrances and think it adds to the show. A good few makes everything seem a little special.
Both Wyatt and Taker's entrances are a bit nothing with sunlight...wonder whether they'll try something clever

I'm just thinking if Rusev does get a huge one, Cena will probably get a retort.

Rumours going around that AJ Lee and Punk have split up. this is down to the fact that they unfollowed each other on twitter (but have since followed each other again).
Punk has also been posting some weird tweets.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that there is more to this story but he doesnt know what it is. But he is sure that they are definitely splitting up but are getting back together again. He also is saying that Reigns will definitely win the title unless they change their minds as they are likely to do and have Lesnar win.

Just read this about HHH's Mania entrance -
Triple H’s “grand entrance” at WrestleMania 31 will use imagery from the movie Terminator: Genisys, and video outtakes from the event will be released to promote the movie’s release. WWE Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer Michelle Wilson provided the following quote:“They [Paramount] get ad units, and they get integration in Raw and SmackDown, pulsing it from now until the film release. I don’t think we would have gotten a deal like this done without this new collaboration, this new strategy.”

Re: HHH entrance and Terminator footage. Its part of their deal with NBCUniversal to run more of their advertising.
It will be interesting to see where it goes. I think what I find interesting about it is that IMO this is the company who negotiated smartly with WWE for the TV rights, which really hit the WWE share price last year.
The worry I have is that the more money comes in from other avenues, the less WWE will probably have to care about their viewer.
So, it could be good. But it also could be bad.

A gay hairdresser who is Mighty Mouse in his spare time.
I wonder if this is why Sheamus has been kept back, for an initial feud with Balor.
I'm still not convinced he won't be lost in the big picture of Raw. I think that if he is put into the Battle Royal as the first entrant then his entrance can make a mark for him in WWE. If he just appears on another Raw, then there's every chance he'll be at the level of Cesaro (or worse Bo Dallas) within 6 months.

While his entrance would certainly get people talking, I dont want it to be his first entrance. If its wasted right off the bat then people will expect it everytime. I like the way it is on NXT just now where its saved for special occasions.
I dont think he'll go the way of Bo Dallas, mainly because Triple H is so keen on him.

Re: News items that dont merit their own thread...thread
I can see what you mean Samo. My fear is that he doesn't get to the position on the roster where the special occasion entrance can be used if he's not launched correctly in the first place. So, I would rather save it, but I do think that for maximum safety I'd use it up front.
What is of course counting against this if he debuts at WM (and ironically this seems to be a WM all about entrances) is that it'll be an event that isn't in the dark until the last couple of matches.
I think there is a big upside with Balor. My biggest reservation about him is that he is very charismatic, but I've still not heard enough of him on the mic. And that is where you cut it in WWE. Doesn't really matter if you are a great worker, if you can't cut a promo then you will be banging your head against a glass ceiling very quickly. There are obviously examples of where this is not true. But, it seems to hold to me quite a lot.
Personally I'd have loved the company to have gone with a new Nexus invasion angle in the Raw following Mania. Get HHH bringing them all up to take over Raw. I'd have most of them back in NXT after that, but I'd keep Neville, Balor, Becky, Charlotte and Zayn. As some kind of stable I think they may get more recognition than going up individually.
Of course what'll more likely happen is that HHH is friends with Sheamus. HHH likes Balor. Sheamus and Balor are Irish. So we'll have some tag-team of the 2. Which would be fine if the tag division were in any way of interest to the WWE. Then in 4 months the two will split, but chances are no-one may care then.

Five Thirty Eight has an article here looking at The Rock's crazy diet, which he had recently revealed to Muscle & Fitness. It was noted that Rock eats about 1000 calories of cod per day with his current meal plan, which averages to about 821 pounds of cod per year.
TMZ reported on the incident between Scott Steiner and Hulk Hogan's wife at an airport during WrestleMania 31 week and stated that Steiner told Hulk's wife that he would "kill" Hulk. A police report was filed and Steiner is being investigated for "felony terrorist threats." The Bleacher Report ran this story on the incident, which is currently featured in the "Editors' Choice" section of CNN's home page.

Several sources have already debunked it.
I reckon they have a time delay on certain posts for slow news weeks. If no new articles are printed, an automatic "TNA in pay issues" article is generated.

Not seen any debunking on most sites.
They were late payments of days rather than months, but it still shows that TNA have a long way to go before they get their stuff in order.

Re: News items that dont merit their own thread...thread
Story is not inaccurate but I got calls from a few people on Friday and one yesterday who said they got their pay. But they were checks scheduled to be mailed on the 1st that arrived several days late. So in those cases it was a few days late, not several pay periods. However, I do know of at least one wrestler who was very late for March pay.
(From David Meltzer)
What makes me laugh is that even in the worst case scenario (which is still not acceptable) the pay is only 12 days late and yet the sources are claiming its months late

Re: News items that dont merit their own thread...thread
It's still bad, it's better than months, but 12 days is still a significant amount of time to have delayed pay. The main reason for the story is despite a new TV deal TNA are still making amateur mistakes.

I cant disagree with that!
I believe the official line is that TNA payroll is done through Panda Energy (the Carters firm) and that they were moving office on the pay day and this led to a delay in issue.
Nearly as good as the dog ate my homework!
What I find incredible is that wrestlers get "cheques" in this modern day anyway!

WWE Performance Center welcomes new class of recruits
STAMFORD, Conn., April 13, 2015 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced that a new, international class of 11 recruits, including former collegiate athletes, bodybuilders and talent from the independent wrestling circuit, from seven countries have begun training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The WWE Performance Center is the home of NXT®, the developmental division for WWE. With seven training rings, a world-class strength and conditioning program and cutting-edge edit and production facilities, the Performance Center will allow the new class to hone their skills through a comprehensive program that includes in-ring training, physical preparedness and character development.
