SO, who's lining Big Eddie's pockets this weekend?

It's fight week, accompanied with the full Sky treatment of a build up show per night. Despite all the protestations on here and ridicule of it being on PPV, is anyone buying it?

I am, me and 2 friends are gonna split the cost and since I'm off the beer, coupled with a pizza it will be a cheap but good night's entertainment.

Watching it at my brother's. He buys the fight, I buy the ale. Does that count?

I'm gonna count it . Should actually have another option for "Not buying but will watch"

If it's on at the local, I'll pop out. There's a chance because they usually show Froch PPVs and obviously Clev being Welsh helps.

The only whipping around that goes on here is Trusscargo on Saturdays at the Blue Oyster Bar

It's not so much that I'm tight just that my brother has a job and anyone in South Wales who is flashy enough to be in gainful employment is expected to shell out for friends and family

It's one of those on the fence type PPV. You want to watch it, but you're not happy paying £16.99 for it.

My brother did that. Got married on a Friday as it clashed with the usual family business of watching our rugby team on a Saturday. That being said the marriage didn't quite work out after...

Haha well I'm not sure the bride is too happy with her evening do being made into the side show but I'm not complaining. Food, music, friends and boxing. Good times. :-)

On the stag do we went out for the first 4 hrs without the groom. When he did come out he was only there for a few hrs. We carried on without him. Funny old carry on!

I've never had a problem finding women who don't nag and are in well paid steady employment. I've been lucky enough to have some real beauties too. I do choose my brothels carefully, though.

Was going the brothers to watch the fight.....but he said he is turning it on at 2100?! I advised the coverage starts at 1800 with scott quigg fighting my companies Janitor for a world strap.

Probably end up paying myself and he can bring the scran.....have that Hearn.

Can't line them as I am overseas, but wouldn't if I could. This simply isn't a PPV card. PPV is driven by demand. There is not enough demand for any of these fights, and some are mismatches. Clev v Bellew is a terrible PPV Main Event.

Is it THAT great? The only competitive fights I see are Bellew vs Cleverley and Periban vs De Gale. The other fights are domestic household names....Groves, Joshua, Quigg....against nobodies.

Is it WORTH £16? No...not one bit.

But boxing is boxing I suppose.

I expect every fight apart from the two I mentioned to be absolute knockouts...early ones too.

Dr Gale to win via UD and Cleverley to win via UD as well.

Im normally a big fan of Eddies and he has been amazing for British boxing but Bellew v Cleverly ppv is a rip of so I wont be paying. Ask yourself this, if everyone pays for this fight then basically what they are doing is encouraging fights that should not be ppv to be made ppv. I dont fancy paying twenty odd quid everytime I want to watch boxing on the telly.

To be fair I wasted money on Haye v Harrison and Haye v Klitschko so while Clev v Bellew may not be worth the £16 it will at least be competitive and I've paid for worse fights in the past

I'm not protesting.

I also don't find being married that hard. I was just careful not to marry a head wrecker. That was a very conscious decision on my part. In terms of degrees I have a primary and masters degree and a post graduate diploma. I am sure there are people more qualified than me on here.......probably not you though.

I'm not a millionaire but will be able to retire before 50 if I chose to. My contribution on here rarely rises above brain farts so I'm hardly setting out to demonstrate any genius. Not all that much different to you mind numbing repetition.

I've decided not to do a masters degree. It's really expensive and not really relevant to my career as I want to work in the public sector (but do part time archaeology field work on the side). Not sure if I will be able to retire at 50 but possibly 55 and it could be done. As long as I can afford a bag of chips big enough to fit Trusscargo's shoulder I will be happy 

5 are buying the fight, 5 considering buying.............Eddie really does have a hold on some.

I reckon Hearn might have underpriced this night of royal entertainment. Who would pay 25 quid for it? do I hear 30 anywhere?
