Chelsea were one of those teams like Newcastle who had good periods and bad periods. They weren't established like United or Arsenal.
It was the Roman money that helped them establish.
Without it they wouldn't have had the success they did imo

A donkey could see Chelsea would be midtable without Roman's illegally obtained oil money

Ken Bates had already set them on their way. Roman's money fasttracked them.
City on the other hand were nowhere when Sheikh Mansour turned up.

Chelsea would have gone bust with Bates running the club. No way would they have won the title.
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
Weren't Chelsea hours away from going bust? (Or is that media exaggeration?)
City are a nothing club. They'll be gone sooner than later.

I played football with the moaniest moaning moaner ever last night. It ruins it when people take it too seriously.

I'll be playing 6-a-side that day until 7:30pm so wont be online until 7:45pm earliest. Which would be ok to most but Tyke is a Hitler wannabe and doesn't allow latecomers.

I'd prefer to start next year too as long as it don't kill the league.
I moan in Football when my teammates are not putting in the effort, I can take losing, conceding goals but I wont tolerate lack of effort.
That's true, he is a really grumpy old man.

Viva, I don't think we are going to get a new Granada manager, so perhaps you should take over them

Mighty, Brave heart wants to know if you'll be entering the Swedish tournament December 14th?
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
Someone was struggling with their word count:
"He should also become the first goalkeeper to win the award since Lev Yashin (1963), who is as of 2013, the only goalkeeper to win this award."

I did run it one year, but pretty sure its Hero's brainchild. I have no interest in running it but I may participate.

Great, we need a Granada manager you up for the challenge?
WBA are a disgrace, Xbox is a flop, I'm still ducking Fernando at Fifa, Belgium is an awful country.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
One post in a month and I get two offers to come back? Who died*?
Viva:
- Albion are the only team in the UK to be demanding an enquiry into head injuries sustained by former pros. Where are the United fans on that?
- You're the expert on floppies so I'll take your word for it.
- Unsurprising, you're the Kayzer Soze of Fifa.
- Agreed. Full of chips, beer and hot women. Disgusting.
Why is Granada vacant and what is their current situation? What did you do to Montpellier Marky?
* If someone really did die then clearly I apologise.

Azzy is too busy with his old boats
I bought some pirate wear the other day, for my Christmas party. I've sort of gone middle ground. So a jacket, eye patch, sword and telescope. I can't go full pirate. I can't go wig.

I am majorly busy, I won't lie. I'm working out how to programme in electrical works, installation of mast lighting, sump works, replacement of manhole covers, replacement of flooring, new staff starting, planning permission application, wedding licenses, talks by our hawk man, disabled access day, Christmas events, plus 1,000 other things. I don't think my employer realised what they were doing when they gave me the job.
On the plus side, I can take time off whenever I like, as I can flexi-time myself. Having no boss has its advantages

I'm sure you've got plenty of experience with masts.

What's their current position then? Good squad? Crap squad? Well below standard and needing huge reworking?

They were champions under Afro (Fergie) and then TSJ (Moyes) took over and they slipped precipitously.
Of course having a manager that can count to 11 helps.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
Lot of potential at Granada. Still a strong enough squad of players, but will get more of a cash boost than most as they have slipped so far down the league.
I'm sure Nando will have an eye patch he could have lent you for the day. And Viva would have given you a go with his sword.
