It only took me a week for Marky to start ducking me and now he is feeling brave after making the last 4 in a tournament where I faced the two finalists. You've got a big mouth Nando Mahmood and ill be shutting it up.

Cry cry cry, Marky its not like you've never played Fifa before you cant use that as an excuse. I've done the damage on xbox and Playstation that's why I'm the pound for pound king whereas you lot cryif you cant play on the console if your choice.

Shall I get one up and running?

It doesn't get mentioned that none of the three (inc Trebs) of them got to the final of the tournament and that Marky was the only one to get out of the group.

It's like a "whose turd is the least smelly? competition"

Or who will win the race at the special school's sports day.

Did any of you win any races at sports day?

One year I won the obstacle race and placed third in the beanbag race. WHAT A PERFORMANCE.

I think it was 1998 or 1999.

I can predict the answers.

"I got beaten, but the other guy had been training longer than me".

"I came last but only because my beanbag had too much lag"

"I would have won if someone hadn't hard boiled my egg"

I can't throw well at all.

I could do a decent impression of a triple jumper and I'm a decent distance runner. I'm not especially fast though.

I used to win at swimming galas. Sports day not so much.

I was fairly quick so I used to do 100m and 200m for my house, but there were always others faster than me.

I remember the trying hurdles too, which was a disaster. I had the hurdling technique of a girl skipping across the playground!!

I can't actually swim so you'd thrash me at that. Because I'd drown.

I always remember this one kid that was winning the hurdles by a mile and on the last hurdle he tried to showboat by going underneath the hurdle. He got stuck, and caught, and he lost.

I did used to do the long jump, but that was all speed related. No actual technique.

Run as fast as you can and then jump, and hope the momentum takes you a long way

I came second in an egg and spoon race, I'd have won but the lad was cheating and he was a year older than me.

I won the trials for 200m between my house but lost badly in the real tournament.

I finished 7th out of 8 in a 100m sprint.

I'm up for an Afro-run Fifa Tournament. If I lose then no complaints. I propose a league of four, everyone plays each other twice and the league winner is the champion. All the same team, so no arguments.

Same as before then, but without the arguments.

I think also the losers all have to change their user name for one month in homage to the winner.

So as an example, if I played and Hero won the tournament (i'm going for as hypothetical as possible), I would have to change my user name to "Afro - Hero owns me at FIFA"

Fifa came out in October, he's been playing that instead of training.

Gone are the days where I expect a 0-0 at best from an away game. Gone I tell you. We can actually score goals now.

True.

Our 4 defeats this year have been against Palace, United, Chelsea and Spurs, and only Chelsea out of those finished above us last year Euro Division Homepage LXXXI - Page 9 3181402168

Interestingly though, the Palace, United and Spurs defeats all came the weekend after a Europa League game.

We need to pick up against the teams we are better than, and need to get better at recovering from midweek games

It evens out, I think you'll be well above us by season's end.

We're doing what we have to, beating the bad teams and losing to the good ones. All you have to do to stay in the league. I don't really want the Europa League anyway, we'd be at risk of loading too much on our squad and it's vital to stay up next season more than any other in our history.

I want us to try and win the Europa as it 1) it's a trophy, but 2) it gets you in the Champions League.

But I can see it meaning we finish 10th or 11th in the league.

If you want to be competing at the top table though, and don't have a rich owner, then you need to somehow get in the CL. Winning EUropa League feels more possible than top 4 at the moment.

The CL money is such a leg up.

It's a risky approach though as there are some very good sides in the Europa League, and the CL teams still to drop down

Not sure how we could manage that this year?

But hypothetically, I don't know. For us, qualifying for the CL has got to be the next target, because of finances, but the Premier League riches probably outweigh the CL ones
