I think it's a mix
The big thing is for United, Liverpool and Arsenal is that they haven't signed any decent defenders. So what can they expect?

Defenders are not what they used to be, the art of defending is dead.
I still watch as much Football as possible, it's how I divide my tablet, football and gaming times that's the issue.

New desk chair has been the most exciting part of my day.
Ever worked with asbestos?
Don't. It's a pretty dry subject and to be honest you've probably all breathed some in. The stuff is everywhere.

Dunno what you're after but I've resigned so you'd better wait on my replacement.

Tsj you just have to rank the teams in the league from best to worst. Base it on players, manager etc.
Also I'm free later this week so can do live text if you want

When did you retire?
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
Why is Zola rated so highly? I think he was a good player but the way some people (Chelsea fans) rate him like he was in the level of Bergkamp, Cantona etc.
I reckon he joined at a time when foreign players playing in England were rare which made it him much more appealing and exotic then he really was. There is a reason why he left Seria A and why he wasn't rated highly in Italy.

Officially after the end of the last game, Viva
I'll have to quit about midway through the season anyway so I'd rather go at the start and let whoever takes over have a bash at nominating EoS lawyers & building their own team.

If you were on death row what would your final meal consist of? You get a starter, main, dessert and choice of one drink.
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
Just realised my age on my profile is 33 haha Hero you crafty devil.
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
Starter would be a nice tomato soup with crusty bread.
Mains would then be beef brisket burnt ends.
Then creme brulee and fruit for dessert.
I'd probably drink a can of Monster because I can't seem to stop myself at the moment. Do you think they put addictive things in drinks so I keep coming back?

I've been thinking for over 2 weeks and I still can't decide what I'd like.
I'm not a big fan of energy drinks but yes most definitely they add stuff that make you addicted to it.

What does the "wheeling" part really mean in wheeling and dealing?
Is it compulsory to wheel before one can deal?

Best to get as many deals you can before the seasons starts.
I get bored of the dealing mainly because I find it difficult to meet in the middle.
I've just Tweeted Azzy, as I was searching his name another Azzy came up AzzyMahmood1 , those on Twitter have a look at his second Tweet he has only Tweeted twice

As we're approaching the third season I wondered if it will be the usual last before a reset?
I had an idea for it if it was but it'd involve a fair bit of work on my side, it'd also hopefully mean a fair bit of trading going on...

Morning Twist my son, how are you?
Can we see if we can find another manager first, before Viva takes on Granada.
I only got involved with PAOK because Olly was struggling to get tactics in. I can't really run a team full time, which was the idea behind Viva coming in.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
As you're all so keen to hear my idea...
I create 33 pots of 11 players (or 10 if that's the total number of managers).
11 first team positions
11 reserve positions
11 youth positions
The first team positions will consist of players in the £5m-£10m bracket ideally
The reserve positions bracket will be £500k - £5m players
The youth position will be players under the age of 21 and under 1m in value.
In each pot though there will be one star player.
For the 1st team pot this player will be worth up to 20m
For the reserves the player will be worth up to 10m
For the youth the player will be up to 5m (but still under 21 in age)
Teams will then be generated by numbers between two managers to avoid cheating and then allocated out again randomly.
Thoughts?

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
To be honest, we opened up TPs to entice trading, as in the past people have shied away on the basis they can't bring in replacements of sufficient quality due to the cap.
The problem is more people than any regulations. I have found some are unwilling to do deals where they aren't balanced firmly in their favor.

There wouldn't be a cap on TPs once they were dealt out, it was just to initially dish the teams out.

Yeah I'm more commenting on the ability to make people do in league deals.
More to the point, any that would actually be fun.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
You could allocate teams with loads of players in the same positions, therefore people are going to have to do deals otherwise will field a first XI consisting of mainly RBs or something.
I'm watching the Apprentice at the moment so I think Hero should be project manager.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXXI
How about we just say you have to do at least one deal between managers every 2 game weeks.
Quick, simple and it is only at least one deal. Some teams go weeks without doing any deals between managers and over reliance on TP's.
If you don't do at least one manager to manager deal, you don't get any TP's for the following 2 game weeks.
