Please do not respond to any emails that appear to be from Halifax asking you to confirm your personal sign in details or linking you to a website that asks you to do so. Halifax would never send emails that ask for confidential or personal security information.

Why would you spam and warn people about spammers like you?

The sad thing is that there are people that actually fall for these scams.

Yeah, but why wouldn't Tesco send me £1,000 when I don't even bank with them?

These spammers should work on their timing though. I don't think Tesco will be giving anything away for a while.

Some people just see the ££££ and instantly lose all sense, I do and don't feel sorry for them. If you're getting scammed by E-Mails you shouldn't be allowed near a computer.

When I get my share for helping my nigerian friend get his money out of the country, I'm going to invest in a better spam filter.

Either that, or some of those tablets to help my winkle grow two more inches

I think in this case they copy and paste the email from a genuine Halifax email then add their own details without proof-reading

Tbh its more for reassurance they're legit

On a side note, a group of four in the tournament is the guy who beat me in the semi final last time when I was down to 9 men, Nando, Viva and Trebs
