Canelo vs Cotto 155 lbs

Apparently talks are underway and Canelo has stipulated the fight should take place at 155 lbs.

Zero chance of him facing Golovkin at 160 lbs should Canelo win (I give Cotto every chance against Canelo should the fight come off).

I'm not sure I understand the thinking behind the catch weight? Cotto is naturally smaller than Canelo, so there's no edge to be gained, surely? I imagine the fight will be marketed as being for the real middleweight crown as well.

I think it has to be 155 for it to be respected as a MW title fight by the fans. It's a joke it should be at 160. Cotto gets beat at 160, smashed, but at 155 he has a good chance.

Cotto seemed pretty compact in his last fight...

Not sure with all the substances about there is any "Natural" weight fighters about anymore.....

These days we have ex flyweights pushing so called natural welters around...

Can't see Carbajal shoving Leonard around...

Good fight and I pick Cotto to win because he's cuter...

But 5 pounds under is too much and should be non title..

When you're ginger it seems the normal rules don't apply (I'm basing that upon my wife's attitude towards everything)

Mayweather on juice like most other fighters wouldn't surprise me..I've always said that..

I know a few MMA fighters who definitely juice, can't see boxers being much different.

Juice helps you recover almost instantly, whicch means you can work a lot harder and not worry about overtraining.

Really like this fight and hope it's signed preferably without the poxy catchweight but if anything this favours the naturally smaller Cotto

Gotta favour Canelo in this fight though. Cotto looked very good against martinez, but every shot he landed had martinez knees dipping and Canelo hasn't been hurt since he fought Cotto's brother 5 years ago.

Cotto is the more fluid boxer and the more experienced fighter but Canelo has the size the strength and the power to wear down cotto. Cotto has always looked a little prone to body shots since margarito, and canelo is one of the best body punchers in the sport. Cotto is cute in his work but he's not as slippery or as strong as lara

Can he out muscle canelo? doubt it, think it'll be close till about the 8th round before Canelo comes on strong and stops Cotto in the 11th or 12th

I call mine the Ginger Whinger. She claims no-one ever made fun of her due to her having ginger hair before she met me This I find VERY hard to believe as you can see her hair from f*cking space. I think its because I'm the only one who's had mrs truss and mrs Dave. I don't normally do gingers, but any port in a storm.
