Best thing about 606v2

Not having to wait for ever before you can post on a different thread. Used to dive me up the wall!

It could still be here next week,seriously while I prefer the free form of 606 and Ja606.I am slowly fiding my way around here and have actually posted my first thread here .Won`t be long I fear before the Wummers and flamers had some done tongue in cheek but others were plain rude.Trouble is you bite back and you get modded and possibly banned.Rugby Rebels is the most civilised site i`ve found.

Once you know what the little icons do you're away. Also the off topic section is good. I look forward to getting into one of the chatboxes.

The best thing is that you have time. Articles all get a fair chance. There are no rashes of wums that push decent articles out of sight. I think that contributed to sheer level of wummery on 606. People just would not respond in numbers unless you were catchy. Catchy = Wums.

The best thing about 606v2 is being able to edit posts, rather than having to wait three long minutes before you can explain that you meant to say 'Springbok scrum' and not 'Springbok scum.'

1. Being able to edit posts you've written.

2. Being warned that someone has just posted at the same time as you, giving you the chance to read their post and edit yours if necessary.

3. No three minute rule and no opening hours. You can post as often and when you like.

4. No pointless ratings system for articles.

5. Easier to dip into different sports and contribute to articles elsewhere.

6. There doesn't seem to be endless repetative threads about the same things. This could be due to the fact that as you post an article it appears immediately on here, whereas on the old 606 it took a while to appear.

7. The links to social networking - see the players Q & A.

8. The hump smiley

More capacity to express yourself with the BBcode, emoticons etc.
