Play under one of the best coaches of all time and in prime time games and the playoffs, potentially the super bowl every year or go to buffalo and obscurity for a few extra million to play under a cheerleader?

Can't see Brady winning many more, didn't look that great yesterday and probably isn't getting any better.

The fact that Darelle wanted to go to the Jets this season says a lot about him. Hopefully the taste of the bigtime has changed his mind. Bit harsh saying Brady didn't look great when he threw for 350 yards and 4 TDs against the best NFL D for a long while!

Had an age in the pocket most of the game and threw two interceptions at the first sign of pressure though. Awful lot of YAC in those numbers too. Certainly wasn't bad, but not like it was all him.JDizzle wrote:Bit harsh saying Brady didn't look great when he threw for 350 yards and 4 TDs against the best NFL D for a long while!

Lets be honest. The LoB was at best at 50% strength. Healthy, Seattle probably wins.

Seattle are a good team. I love the ethos of fair competition at every position. I think we (Patriots) played a great game minus a few plays here and there. Started the game really well and showed some guts to come back from 14-24 in the 4th qtr. We deserved to win IMO.GSC wrote:Lets be honest. The LoB was at best at 50% strength. Yeah hitting Gronk just before he's about to party for a week isn't the greatest of moves. Irvin soon ran tho

At least everyone can delude themselves into feeling optimistic about next season. Unless you're a Browns fan obviously, because they aren't allowed nice things.

NFL Films is easily one of my fav things, amazing to think the work he did and the effect it's had, and really I can't think of a parallel in sport (in terms of what NFL Films does)

So Harbaugh refuses to deny Tomsula was actively campaigning for his job midseason, and Gase turned it down because he'd have to hire Tomsula as his DC.

The Chargers and Raiders have put forward a proposal for a joint-stadium in Los Angeles:-

http://www.manicaarchitecture.com/projects/stadia/42-los-angeles-nfl-stadium
I can't help but think this is more about forcing through new stadiums plans in San Diego and Oakland rather than moving to LA. Still think the Rams are the most likely team to move there.

Re: Ongoing NFL Discussion Thread V
I know this isn't current but whilst updating the latest rosters on NHL 15 I noticed that a certain Slava Voynov is still in the game. That might not mean much to you but Slava was arrested back in the winter for beating his wife. He didn't knock her out but she was bloodied and bruised around her face, neck and upper body, apparently he drove her head into a flat screen TV before stamping on and kicking her and then choked her a little bit. People who had seen the police pictures were physically sickened. I was wondering why he was still in the game whilst Rice isn't on Madden.
I feel without seeing any pictures or video that what he has done is worse than Rice. We all know Rice only punched his girlfriend once and further degraded her by dragging her along. I know saying "he only punched once" is still far too much but compared to Voynov it seems like very little. Voynov hasn't been removed from the league like Rice was but he has been suspended indefinitely and the LA Kings were fined $100,000 when they let him skate with the team back in December after he was suspended. His wife claims it was her fault, that he was trying to go to sleep and she wanted him to stay up and talk.
I just find it really odd that he did all of that, has yet to receive the sanctions of Rice but he is yet to be removed by EA.

Re: Ongoing NFL Discussion Thread V
I do like a spot of ice hockey but I would imagine the disparity between Yoynov's "punishment" and that of Rice has something to do with the relative standing within American life of football and hockey. Football is way bigger than hockey so has to be seen to be setting more of a tone for how America responds to and deals with issues such as domestic violence.

I cannay see Revis back in New York or harvin on the pats tbh. And if Randall Cobb decides to leave Rodgers in green bay he's the biggest idiot going.
Hate free agency, Pats fan freak out about everything. Just let them do there work, they obviously have a plan for McCourty if they didn't tag him
