What platform are you on Crips? I've been using it on my PS3 and never had that happen. Unless its a UK version thing.

Prometheus wrote:Has anyone who had signed up prior to the UK launch had trouble accessing the Network? When I try to log in on my iPad it gives me an error. Though there is no problem with the email and password. I'm just wondering if it learnt where I am using the location function and is now stopping my access. No biggy as obviously I can now sign up to the UK version. Just wondering.
Try clearing cookies, my house's US account had a problem with this for a while but worked fine after clearing cookies.

I am pretty sure that the repeats of the recent PPVs dont have the markers on them. I am pretty sure, but not 100% anyway
Also, I believe the match start and the match finish markers are different colours so once you learn which is what then it should be easy enough for anyone but a computer illiterate moron (crips)

New PPV's + new episodes of NXT do not have the markers.

I loved Tuesday in Texas as a kid. It was terrible but I loved it. It was the first PPV I watched where I was anticipating the matches; before that I used to just watch the occasional PPV without knowing what the card was or what the storylines were.

I think it was around that time SKY was becoming more and more popular in British homes and more and more peoplr our age at the time 8-12 would be getting more and more into it and getting to see it on a regular basis, wonder why Vince didn't try more events like that in 93 and 94 although he did inteoduce KotR to PPV back then

I watched the Royal Rumble on my PS4 as the UK is now allowed to have the Network, yet as I set up my account as a US one, I'm not paying £9.99, I'm still paying $9.99, which works out to around £6.50 per month. Can't knock it.

Came home to watch the PPV on the Network. Hit 'watch from the beginning' and it goes straight to the end with Reigns and the Rock. Thanks WWE.
I also couldn't fast forward past bits I managed to stay awake for last night, buffering issues early on and then rubbish sound interference from the table bump till the end of the PPV.
All this despite a few reboots and a delete and reinstall. Complete and utter joke.

Don't understand that. Had no problems yet, I also thought the stream and quality on Sunday night was brilliant.

It's the 2nd time I've had issues with it jumping randomly to the end of the PPV. Did the same with the Suvivor Series and ruined Sting showing up. I think a few others had a similar issues yesterday but it didn't seem that common. Can't find anyone else with the sound issue though, really weird.

Sounds like you were watching it on the "live stream" channel rather than the on-demand. You need to clock "In Ring" then "PPVS".liverbnz wrote:Came home to watch the PPV on the Network. Hit 'watch from the beginning' and it goes straight to the end with Reigns and the Rock. Thanks WWE.

2002 must be the greatest and most star studded card in Summerslam history.
Kurt Angle v Rey Mysterio. Chris Jericho v Ric Flair. Edge v Eddie Guerrero. Lance Storm and Christian v Booker T and Goldust. Rob Van Dam v Chris Benoit. The Undertaker v Test. Shawn Michaels v Triple H. The Rock very Brock Lesnar. Seriously.

Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
This week I've watched No Way Out 2000 and 2002.
Currently watching last years elimination chamber. Big E vs Swagger was an awesome match. Shame Big E is apart of the job squad and Swagger is being treated awfully.
The Shield vs The Wyatt family was my favourite match in 2014.

I'm rewatching 2014 currently and thought Big E's match with Rusev was decent too. Should have used Big E in Big Show's place within the Authority.

My girlfriend wants to relive her wrestling childhood so we've started watching the PPV's starting with Royal Rumble 1992 just finished watching King of the Ring 1994 - loving the memories
Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
Rumble 92 (the Rumble itself) is still my favourite match of all time. And KOTR 1993 is criminally underrated.
I'm loving The Network!

I think I must have watched over 20 PPVs now. Plus every single Monday Night War and Rivalries. Halfway through the Countdowns and started Legends Of Wrestling.

If I got that right, the Network has 1.3M subscribers.
It is an interesting number as WWE needs an average of around 1M subscribers across a year to be making its money.
It is obviously not a number that is exciting Wall Street as the stock has gone down about 10% since they disclosed this number around 15 minutes ago

Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
It's very poor right now, for now WWE seem like they're going to stick at it, which is probably the right decision, but it will test them because there will be a temptation to go back to the PPV model.
Their numbers have to be much better than that to make the Network a worthwhile investment. I'm just not sure what else they can do, that's two Wrestlemanias now which have failed to get people paying for the Network. Two Wrestlemanias which have featured huge names like Hogan, Rock, Austin, Lesnar, Cena etc.

Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
WWE announced a slew of new and original content to be added to the network. Including:
Camp WWE: Seth Greens new animated series about the WWE superstars as kids at summer camp. Billed as an adult comedy.
Swerved: Teaming up with Jackass creator Jeff Tremaine - no idea what this is.
Diva Search - A return of the reality show which found such gems as Layla and Eve Torres.
Jerry Springer presents WWE Too hot for TV - Oh good god.
Live! with Chris Jericho - a monthly, Network exclusive version of Talk is Jericho, with John Cena the first participant.
Unfiltered with Renee Young - Interviews with superstars and pop-culture celebs.
Culture Shock with Corey Graves - Examining the local culture of the places WWE tour in. Could be interesting.
WWE The List - Another list based show?
New episodes of Rivalries and Countdown, plus Hulk Hogans Rock and Wrestling comes to the Network.
The biggest thing of note is the introduction of monthly live NXT Takeover specials. Not super excited about this because I think it will stop making the specials seem special. I prefer the almost bi-monthly schedule they have now.
Doesnt seem like a lot of stuff that would entice someone to sign up. Could be worse, but could be a lot better.

Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
The Jackass one is apparently going to be pranking WWE staff and wrestlers.
The cartoon will probably appeal to the same people who like South Park and Family Guy.
Not a fan of Jericho's podcast really.
I think it's just good that they are making original programming, I might not watch most of it but the Network hasn't created enough original programming for my liking.

Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
I'm cancelling anyways, I might wait until the next PPV and see what this original programming is all about but I've seen all I need to see just now
Watching the PPV next day on demand is handy but im not someone who bothered with buying PPV's anyway outwith Mania and the Rumble, the fact that I could just rejoin again at anytime if a PPV looks good is appealing tho'
its a handy tool but not something I think im too fussed with on a permanent basus

Re: THE WWE NETWORK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK
What their figures seem to suggest is that around 80% of the programming that people watch on the Network is original programming.
So, what WWE are trying to do is to create (as cost-effectively as possible) more original content.
The problem with that may be that the original programming people are watching are the NXT and PPV wrestling shows, so how ready are people to watch other shows?
I know I'm often surprised that there is a channel playing when I open it, as I only go there to watch specific items, like NXT. So for me it is a portal that hosts content I'm interested in, not an alternative TV channel.
Speaking of NXT I know they are adding recruits to it, but hope they are not diluting that impactful 1 hour per week and bi-monthly PPV shows.

Yes. Part of me is disappointed, because I'm greedy and want more of it. But then my brain tells me that it is better to have a super high quality event every quarter rather than dipping the quality just to have more of them.
