Club Rugby Sports database

I've just joined up to a website that will be collecting sports metadata, the website is called www.thesportsdb.com. It works the same way in which thetvdb.com and the themoviedb.com works. Community led data that is then exposed via a simple API so people can include the data in what ever application they like.

I use XBMC (Now called Kodi) which uses thetvdb.com and themoviedb.com to get show/film metadata including dvd covers etc. The hope is this new sports version will eventually have live scores/fixtures/tv showings etc that can be accessed from anywhere. I'll be looking at developing an addon that will pop up a message for certain events.
