United don't rely on Rooney. They have di Maria. Mata. Falcao. RVP. Carrick. Plenty of match winners.

City have Bony (soon), Toure, Silva, Nasri, Dzeko.

Chelsea have Hazard, Costa, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Remy.

Arsenal have Sanchez. And to a much lesser extent, now that he's no longer on fire, Ramsey. You have no top-class match winners on which to rely. Which is why you just cannot win the league. Ever.

Spurs have Eriksen and Kane - better than any pairing Arsenal can muster.

Wenger is the greatest fraud that has ever lived, i thought Mourinho had his fans eating out his palms but it's Wenger. Not even Mourinho could keep majority of Chelsea fans happy if he failed for 10 years.

Wenger is the greatest deciever the world has seen he is the devil, Arsenal fans lap up everything he says, he knows what to say and when to say. This window was a classic, he claims he could have bought Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic etc making Arsenal fans happy and then he signs Paulista. You can't beat Wenger. If any of us failed at our jobs we'd be thrown at the door head first let alone 10 years of failure.

The time is up for Wenger but he's damned by his own standards

Thing is, Wenger won trophies when it was Arsenal vs United. He did well against the United juggernaut.

Chelsea are a moneybags outfit and essentially took Arsenal's place vs United while the Emirates was being built + paid for.

Now that Arsenal are 'back' in the races, they're up against Chelsea, United AND City. Then teams like Liverpool and Spurs go out and spend £100m every summer. It's far more difficult to win trophies now, and I don't see why Wenger is expected to do so when even spending £500m would be no guarantee of success.
