First topic message reminder :

Hello. Following its roaring success on the old 606 (winner of six Luckies*) I thought I'd provide a space on 606v2 for you to post any irrelevant little things you fancy sharing.

I'll start: I've always had trouble with the line 'Love grows where my Rosemary goes.' If they'd chosen another name like Anne or Susan there'd be no problem, but rosemary's a herb so it could be 'Love goes where my rosemary grows.'

Anyone interested in setting up some sort of utopian farming collective? There'll be lemon curd, crumpets, ginger beer, parsnip wine, bats in the rafters and harmonium concerts in the barn...

I just saw a short piece on this guy who rummages around the city harvesting all sorts of fruits, grasses, nuts, acrons. He grinds up the acorns to make pasta and adds a few other things (pork bought from butcher though) then tops it off with milkweed? he has collected form the side of the road...after carefully selecting and washing them a few times.

Looked quite tasty...but would wonder about the petrol/lead in the milkweed!

There is also a street here (Myrtle St, Chippendale) where local residents have planted all sorts of things...great big mandarin trees, capsicums, eggplants, berries, etc... anyone can go through and take whatever they can carry in their hands.
