Must be annoying losing your contact lense on the pitch...

Oh please. Give me Medard, Mitchell, Gear, Sivivatu any day. Ashton was probably the best from November until first game of 6 Nations. Hasn't done much since the Italy game.

If you ever watch live in a match not on TV the amount of work he does off the ball is unbelievable, his defense is solid being from a league background, and he is fairly solid under the high ball which is possibly the one thing howlett has over him.

By the way - I don't think Howlett could still be an All Black.

Also I should say it in a whisper . . . .is John Hayes actually scrummaging like a normal prop today???

Maybe it's the noise, Dreamer. It's not far off international-level atmosphere.

We would have had so much more kicking in a Welsh derby - well, if the Ospreys were involved anyway ;-)

Ireland targetted his poor positional sense in the 6N as did Munster last year.He is a good tackler. He can't kick very well nor is he good at defending a kick.

ooo what a first half of rugby, Munster are going to be kicking themselves they haven't got more points on the board.

If Leinster cut out their handling errors, I think Munster might struggle a bit in the 2nd half.

Scotland he's decent but no better than Earls or Bowe really. Certainly not the best winger in the world.

Silly decision to kick a drop goal so high into that wind. I'm very happy to be leading at half time. Wind at our backs now!!

I wouldn't agree with that. I think a 7-3 lead is very promising. I think that Musnter pressure is resulting in Leinster handling errors. We could just as easily say if Munster cut out their turnover mistakes Leinster could be annihalted.

I'm happy enough its all in the balance.

Incredible tussle. Munster showing more initiative. Deservedly in front and it could have been more. Loving ROG and Sexton kicking to touch and going for the try.

This is brilliant stuff.

Very true that Stag. But I just don't see Leinster losing the battle at the breakdown is all. So if they keep the turnovers going and cut out their errors like they did in the 2nd half last week....

Tis just the way I see it, and I could be completely wrong! Ale

I think Munster may have this one - now they have the wind behind them, and the forwards are playing well - the scrum is pretty even

You don't pick Lions teams on "form". It all goes out the window when you travel thousands of miles for a tour. He's a good winger who comes off his wing looking for work but he's not the best winger in the world. Its a ridiculous idea fuelled by Stuart Barnes at Sky.

Pundits pointed out how relieved Munster fans must have been to finally score a try against Leisnter. To be honest I hadn't given it a second thought.

4 points wouldn't be that much of a comeback.Mafi is having an decent game, he looks like he is playing btter as he is getting so much space.

Dougie Howlett wouldn't get into the current AB team I was caught in the moment.I still think he should have been playing 4 years ago.
