I thought so Cari, or at least some sort of French sportsman anyway. I remember reading something similar to this before.

Ohh your missing out on the first two, the other two are average at best. First one is worth a watch though.

I like all of them, although the third not so much. I'm with Stag on this, got to love a good swashbuckling adventure film from time to time.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I liked them all really. First one is comfortably the best though. Looking forward to new 3 musketeers film there's a good cast in it.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
POTC films are great. I would rate them in order of quality - 1, 4, 2, 3.

Haven't seen the new one - did read a review that said the series had gone to pot after the 2nd and the 4th was pretty trashy

I'd rate them 1, 2+4 tied, 3.
MrP, I rarely pay any attention to reviews any more. I nearly always disagree with them!

I suspect that I will like no 4 -when I get round to seeing it - the others were really enjoyable and I'm not one for the fine artistic critique anyway

4 had a good story, and plenty of swashbuckling action, which for me is all you need....

Nah pal, I got myself a gel-filled saddle-cover. Quite a pleasurable experience actually. I dont even need to go on the bike, I just sit on it at home. Grand.

Makes a change from sitting on the rubber ring eh? So, are you going to pur-chase the DVD when it comes out? Silly question really....

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I was talkign to my mate about yesterdays ML final via text message and just got the following text message from him (oh how I wish Notch was here)
Thought mcfad was good yesterday. Really like to see him in WC squad but one of guys at college saying he won't travel coz of p.wallace? U know more about rugby than me. Surely this is >insert profanity< . Wallace is a waste of space who has never delivered for Ireland.

Finally back home in Limerick after my adventures in the big smoke. Decided to visit the Dublin National History Museum. It rocks.
Mickado had planned on joining us but he was tired, hungover and ashamed to face a Munster fan this mornign

Sexy is the new Munster. It started in Brive and happened again when Howlett ran 60m through the Leinster team.

I'm not too bad Staggy. Off work now until Wednesday
You can't put Munster and sexy in the same sentence without adding Wally. I lust him.

Ah we were awful tired at that stage. The lads were on de lash all week...
He did it twice too. Frightening pace. It was like the old Dougie. I thought Wally and Jenno had a great battle. SO many turnovers.

Gibbo they did. The contest at breakdown and the lineout were for me the best things about yesterdays game. Followed by the little individual moments from Howlett and BOD. Nacewa didn't look interested yesterday.
BTW Munster have won 21 out of 24 ML games this year. Very impressive BUT this is still seen as a failed season.

I would just LOVE to see Deccies' notes on that game. Id say he was pleased. No one injured either. Some inter-pro Trial before the Summer Tests.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Well after a funny afternoon and evening, I'm off. Watched Fawlty Towers Reopened on Gold. Great programme and it cheered me up no end. I wish I could drink in Dubai like. Could murder a pint.
Gareth Edwards did the Brian Moore challenge on Scrum V. I'm not convinced he was the proper distance away, but it's worth watching.
Pretty pleased the Dragons were one of the three. I'll remember that day well as I landed from Afghan and got back in Wales just in time to see the good bits. Shame I couldn't be at Dave for it.

Thats an unreal statistic at any level. Even more satisfying when ye blooded so many new players in it. That's NOT a failed season. Its called re-building successfuly from within. And winning the ML Title with them. They have tasted blood. They will be better next year. Believe in youth.
I thought Axles' presence was all over that game.

Gibbo - I'm gonna put it out there. I expect to see an experimental Kidney this Summer*
*by experimental I mean Murray, Jones and McFadden to all get a decent chance. I also expect to see him play about with the Munster trio of Horan, Hayes and Buckley to decide last prop spot.
Yea that had Foley written all over it. Munster will only ever succeed so long as our pride and passion remain. He brings that.

Jones is a revelation. Murray looks like he has the lot. Big lad too. And I'm not allowed promote McFadden over Pa.. Pa.. yerman with the baby-face and bandages.
Agree on the props. One has to travel. I reckon it will be Mushy.

Also back 3 will get a thorough examination. Fitz, Earls, McFadden and Trimble to all play as wingers. Fitz, Earls, Kearney and Jones to get checked out at fullback.

Yes. I am quite happy over all. But there are many many fans who would see this as a big failure of a season. They would cite a Thomond Park defeat to Quins and a Heineken Cup exit as results. McGahan is particularly unpopular figure in many places in Munster.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I hope he does Stag. He needs to.
BTW I believe. Fitz is a winger/centre. I really dont think he is near Jones or Kearney as a natural attacking FB, tbh. He thinks he is and wants to be... That's what screwed him up form-wise, imo.
Somone should tell him that. Schmidt and/or Kidney.
