Ah fair enough. I wonder is there a gap in the market for robo-ref?
As a ref, do you think if every single infringement in the game was picked up would we still enjoy watching rugby? And if not, what tolerance should robo-ref be set at? If he penalised 90% of all infringements would we have a good game?

If every single infringement was penalised rugby would be completely absorbed by aerial kicks, kicks at goal and lineouts. I would say if you penalised 90% of all infringements we would have a dreadfully poor game. There is no set answer - it depends on how the offenses affect the game.

I like it here. It seems to be a bit quiet outside the Pub but its a lot better than 606.

Sexton just went over for his second. Wonderful stuff!
Check out Luke Fitzgeralds tackle on Howlett here. Good hit, we were so close to it we could hear it!

I won't be joining any other forum. I can't be bothered trying to keep more than one going. Besides I suspect this place will get busier during the world cup and then during the new season.

Everybody on my facebook is suddenly a Swans fan. In Uni there were a couple of debates that could keep us going for days:
1 how can you square logically supporting Llanelli at rugby, but Swansea at football?
2 which is most important to you, saving the Welsh language or gaining Welsh independence?
3 if Helen off Neighbours came on to you, would you say no?

Mickado,
Thanks for that pal. You've got me needing a fix.
I'm sticking it on now. I watched when it I got home, because "certain" ASM and Ulster fans, who will remain completely nameless - (Chef & Rava) - denied me that privilage in Blagdon that night. They wanted to bleedin TALK,play snooker and get pished. What?
Kia , the consumate Lady that she is, copied it for me. Proper Munster fan.
I may skip the 1st half.
Nah, got to feel that pain to celebrate the gain. <Hobo,I,need a ZEN symbol, roysh>
BTW Mick, delighted you are coming to De Dam. I will try and spoil ye both. Read your email mo chara. <and a STOUT sign too please Hobo man> I can't survive on this site without them.
P.S. Huggie and Munsty are delusional. We have NO hope in the RWC. Hype, hype, hype and no real substance to back it up. QF for us, the same mediocrity since 1987. Will that do?
Believe.

MrP.
It's our country in a WC. All emotional bets are off. I will scream us on all the way. Just cant see us beating Oz to give us a better chance of making a SF. But, I still Believe - that we may.
Belief, with a smidgen of Doubt.

Never mind, the scant comedy value on offer would not survive an explanation.
Gibbo, if it wasn't Notch that you were referring to the other day, what irked you? I understand if you'd rather not say.

Prop, I am with you on Marler. Overhyped right now and needs to work on a lot of aspects of his game.
Carries well, and tackles, but against a decent scrummaging tighthead is more often than not second best and makes rash decisions like going for the ouside runner for Baby's try on Sunday.

The Aussies are always the team NH teams have most chance against from the SH. That doesn't mean you will beat them of course. Mind you if you did I can imagine us or England beating you anyhow.

I don't think I said that did I? I thought I said I don't think you would beat New Zealand or South Africa. Australia you can beat, should beat and may well beat. However you never can write them off. They have relied on nouse to win too many games down the years.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
The teams I worry about are France and NZ. If we take on South Africa having beaten the likes of England and Australia I would expect us to prevail despite conceding that they would favourites.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Sorry Stag. If you are going to win this World Cup, somebody else will have to beat New Zealand for you. Everybody else (with the possible exception of the Saffers if they are in their pomp) I think you will have the measure of.

Glas a chara, YES, I'll say. What "happened" the other day, set the tone for this new hosted Pub.
The dynamic had changed. I do believe it's tone has settled again now.
It was nowt to do with Notch and I. I think he knows that too now. We go back. It was the creeping, dissing of teams and countries. Twice as many people "read" this Pub than comment on it. It was the same on 606, but now we can see it in stats. Think about it.
Im not as stupid as I... or am I?
The real reason is, I was backing up our Cari's words. I cant and wont help that. She is my adopted Welsh daughter.

He's got wound up and lost the plot a couple of times this season. Both PDJ and Nieto have given him a good going over. I'll be surprised if he's on the plane to New Zealand.

Yes I agree with this entirely.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
See, I hadn't noticed that. Yes there was the odd comment from potential regs before they sussed the place out. I thought the regs were pretty much as they were before though.
Perhaps we need Ummm to make this place complete.

Here's a question I saw when flicking over the carcass of 606. What rating out of 10 would you give the old 606 rugby forum?

Because I have good taste in music Glas
Nah seriously though tis just what I was brought up listening to, so a big thanks to my parents for that. And I far prefer it to most of the rubbish that's out nowadays, can't help it, it just has more soul to it I feel.

Dreamer,
Your parents Rock!
My lads nicked all my albums, having dissed them for years. The little bar-stewards. They grew to love the music. And the album art work they now have on their walls. They have since educated the aul man to some excellent "new" music. Its the way it should be. Like a never-ending circle.
When its good, it's always good. Time tells.
This is me and MrsG's lurve-song...

Fab song Gibbo
Ah my parents rock, but then again they don't! I was also forced to listen to a lot of country and western music too, not my fave! And I shan't start on the Gregorian chants my Dad used to play all the time either

I don't get music. I like certain songs but its not a passion I have. Its something I often wish I appreciated more.
Regarding old 606 I would probably give it 6/10 - slightly above average. The inconsistency with house rules, the amount of WUMs, the repeat articles, the inability to change formats, create polls and use links to external content are all detractors. However it was easy to navigate, looked nice and catered to a wide audiance.

Oh roysh Dreamer. Gregorian Chants. That must have been tough.
My lads, used hate Steely Dan. I played them endlessly and they, in the back of the car on long journeys - they changed the words to suit them and pish me off. I can't repeat the words here. I checked their iPOds recently. They feed me the new stuff. I need it. I download it. But, every Steely Dan album, ever recorded, was on them.
I said nowt. Just smiled.
I love my boys.
Nite.
