Haha Hero changed it!
Shocking display, although weirdly Speroni's late play makes me think he was the standout player in the end.
If we don't get top ten Sam is gone. We will be lucky to hold onto that over the next two weeks

You're best to keep out of it after Murray's loss of balance troubles today.
What game to watch next guys? Got the choice of all of the 3pm kickoffs.

Really go away performance and victory for Crystal Palace. Obviously shows how much set pieces are a vital part of today's game. I'd hardly say Palace have the strongest players in the league if I'm honest. Only Dann (and Murray after today) that could be considered a major threat in the air for Palace and against West Ham who have always been known for their set piece plays or strength in the air, that's really poor. But, movement is key as shown by Murray's 2nd goal and Palace's 3rd.
Well done the Palace.

Watch the rugby instead.. But football. You lucky sod. You get any game you want where you are..
I don't get involved in diving arguments. Every player does it. There is no point singling anyone out.

What a shame we (Reading) didn't decide to buy Murray permanently at the start of the season.

Can't get the rugby. I get to watch more of the Arsenal games than I did when I had a season ticket.

Pardew won't put him on that list with displays like that. Really good from Murray bar his red card. But we need him now whilst he is scoring goals.

Newcastle 1-0 Aston Villa FT - Cracking result, seeing as Villa were the better team. Basically safe with 35 points now.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
Villa's last 4 away games read: Man Utd, Spurs, Man City and Southampton.
A few six pointers at home remain but they really have it all to do.

Newcastle should certainly be aiming for the 50 point mark at least now. 5 wins would be really good for Carver's men in their last 11 games.
Garry Monk is doing well with Swansea to pick up the results. They've hit that 40 point mark and should be finishing top half now this season. Strong side with good players.

I've got more chance of becoming a professional tiddlywinks champion than there is a chance of Tim Sherwood keeping villa up

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
Maybe Tim Sherwood keeping Villa up was a little bit too optimistic so far.... You'd have expected them to have got at least 3 points from his first 2 games and he has 0. At this rate his 6 wins look increasingly unlikely.
But, we've got to judge him at the end of the season or until Villa goes down (whichever comes first). Not after his first 2 games.

Also, Darren Fletcher is absolute quality. What a signing.

Did he actually turn down QPR in favour of Villa?
Because if he did he might wind up regretting that one methinks.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
I hardly think QPR are that much better if I'm completely honest with you. They've got better quality, but they are in some trouble financially as Redknapp just threw them in debt with money that wasn't available to spend.

Quite pathetic having to go to such extremes as to ban me. You obviously see me as a threat. Anyway, looks like I had the last laugh, seeing as your tin pot club got hammered at home to Palace in a quite embarrassing display, while Pulis led us to another fantastic home win & closer to safety.

Should have sacked that buffoon Lambert way before we did.
So obvious he wasn't up to the task.
Played pretty well by all accounts today.
Gotta turn it into wins.
5 wins from 11. Hmm gonna be very tough.
No point in being negative and saying we are already down, otherwise I may as well fk off do something else.

LiamB now you're back, it was discussed between staff members whether to ban you and we were all in agreement. Nobody sees you as a threat, what we do see is someone who has very little respect for their other posters and likes to talk down to them.
Lose the "better than the rest" attitude, and there won't be any further issues I'm sure.

I was highlighting the 'banned' comment, it wasn't Fernando, it's that Dolphin Ziggler or whatever his partner Hero wants to call him at night. Quite pathetic.
