Thanks.
As for today, huge three points, I think if we can carry this momentum, we could be well & truly safe before the end of April, when our fixtures become difficult. Pulis has done a superb job, I never doubted him or his signings either, in particular Fletcher, who has been first class. Berahino was superb again today, at the end Graziano Pelle was absolutely awful, he missed two sitters. Don't see Southampton making top 4, which plays into Man Utd hands.

Interesting week next week as we have you twice.
3 points and place in the semi final would be a perfect week.

Yeah, should be an interesting couple of games. You are playing well, just lacking the quality. I'd rather take the Cup win, over the league win, if I'm honest. I think we will be safe in the league now, we only need around five more points or so & have Qpr & LEICESTER at home.

You'll win the cup game and lose the league game probably, Westy. Always the way.
West Brom should cruise to safety.

Would say its 3 from
Villa
leicester
Burnley
Hull
QPR
Sunderland
Would love to win both next week obviously.
If i had to choose one, then would have to go fir the league win.
As much as it would be great to get to wembley again, we need the points more.
But lets go for 2 wins next week.

Dolph may or may not have banned him....
Quite pathetic having to go to such extremes as to ban me. You obviously see me as a threat. Anyway, looks like I had the last laugh, seeing as your tin pot club got hammered at home to Palace in a quite embarrassing display, while Pulis led us to another fantastic home win & closer to safety.
You a Hammer now then, Nando?
Yes To be fair one side of the family is Arsenal the other is West Ham & My Dad is Wolves

Don't know why anyone doubted the Fletcher signing, he's the perfect Pulis general and doesn't shirk away from a battle, also has that bit of class lacking at the bottom. Pleased for the guy his new fans are appreciating him.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
Personally tired of the homophobic jabs towards people on here and I'd be expect a smarter return from someone just banned. I've made a point on one report from the football thread that the continued gay jokes towards Brighton should really not be allowed to continue either. I've given LiamB a day to cool off again with a long explanation of why I banned him before, why I've banned him again and why it's only a one day ban when it could have easily been more.
I'd like to note how both the wonderful and quite frankly sexy "Dolphin Abuser" (there's a sentence I never thought I'd type) and good old handsome Mysti remained civil today even when I was fuming about our display and he was watching his side beat a team he relishes opposing.
I am also tired with an early hangover so this may have added to this full post and the couple of bans I've given to users across the forum this evening. Welcome to the dawn of my sexual mod rod
Anything you feel is worth a response to this should be PM'd as I've clogged up this thread with boring rabble enough already, including this post

Liverpool starting with no strikers again. I can understand maybe not starting Sturridge after he limped off on Thursday, but there's Lambert, Borini and Balotelli all on the bloody bench!

Seems defensive to me. Hitting City on the break. Is Rodgers going back to last season where he goes all out attack for 2 minutes, scores 2+ goals and then they defend as solid as they have and they hit on the break?

Not sure it's defensive at all, the same system we've played for the last few months and we haven't been playing defensive football. I just don't see the point in having four strikers on the bench and not starting one of them.

I mean playing without a recognised striker seems like Liverpool will be more defensive.

Re: We Go Again! The 2014/15 Premier League Thread
No different to the last few months though that's my point, it's not a defensive system it's just a bloody stupid idea to not start one of the four strikers who are warming the bench. What makes it worse is that we have no midfielders on the bench, let's hope one of them don't get injured because we need Can to stay at the back.

Great win for Liverpool, showed no signs of fatigue after Thursday and outplayed City. Two fantastic goals as well, plus keeping City pretty quiet at the other end.

I wouldn't expect Everton to get anything at Arsenal, regardless of how they are playing anyway. A draw would be nice though.

It's clear the work Coutinho has put in on the training ground to improve his shooting, last season he couldn't seem to get any power in to his shots.

It's 1-0 at the Emirates as Giroud opens the scoring & 1-0 to Norwich in the (Oi you shagged my mother, Oi you shagged my sister but they the same person) East Anglia Derby

Can't say I didn't enjoy Arsenal instantly punishing Everton for Lukaku's lack of decision making.

Well is anyone disagreeing with me? Was the first half full of excitement?
2nd half has started of better. Problem with arsenal home games on the telly is the atmosphere is dead.

Have to commend Liverpool on a great win today.
As for city the less said the better, going against a side who had an away game in Europe and extra time a day after your home game and being out ran and out worked is pathetic.
