Re: 2015 World Cup
I suppose batting at 7 for England does mean you are usually in by the 20th over, so maybe it is an ok position for Buttler

Broads batting has been badly affected since the bouncer incident last summer. He has said as much himself

The shoulder of the bat looks to be grounded when the lights go on.

Same age as Dishan I take it? A little younger than Misbah, whose basically kept Pakistan in this thing?
Yes but they are exceptions rather than the rule. And KP was not in good form for a couple of years. A case of becoming a better player when out of the side.
A case of the replacements not being as good as the player. Even the shadow of the player.

Neither Broad (pre or post nose job) nor Jordan can in anyway be described as all rounders. Take a look at their records.

True - a clearout is needed. Bell and Morgan pretty much have to go. Ali could remain but not as an opener, maybe the number 7.

when it's not your day.......Jordan like decision goes against you....not a howler....but no one would have complained had the 3rd umpire given it N.O eitehr

Think its mighty close myself... Benefit shoulld go to the batter, but maybe the ump has gotten lost in the moment.

KP should have been dumped after those text messages.........Only a nation that sells itself to a corrupt businessman in Stanford would ever dream of having him back.........Then they dump him for good because of his lack of team spirit.........
To have him back now would make English cricklet look even more undignified and tragic than it does now !!
He's a moron ......let him go...and build with real English cricketers..
Live and die as ENGLAND !!

Re: 2015 World Cup
Although he's far from being a batting great, Jordan is better than Broad. He (Jordan) has even opened the batting in 4 day cricket although that was another of Chris Adams' many mistakes at Surrey.
Sorry again about the jinx, Goose - just hope you haven't seen my posts praising Woakes' ability with the bat ....

We moved the Ashes for that?! For beating Scotland?!
I hope you see what I mean now, KP_Fan, about the chances being 60-40, not 90-10. England cracked under the pressure, just as I thought they would if Bangladesh exerted any.

Re: 2015 World Cup
Wrong balance in the team, wrong captain and wrong coach. England deserve to go out.
I hope that they now recognise what's wrong with the dynamics within the team, get a decent coach in and rebuild around Root as captain.
Not often England leave any world cup before Ireland

And well done Bangladesh.
Some good bowling at the end, and clever field placings to back it up.

Yeah right... and the class not high enough in this one! The Auckland match was on another dimension to this one in pure sporting quality.

Glad we are out. Can't avoid tough decisions any longer. Moores out please
Nowhere near good enough, getting to the QFs may have led to Semi Finals then a belief of everything being ok.

Feel sorry for Buttler. He is building an impressive portfolio of innings trying valiantly, but ultimately failing, to recover lost causes.
