Oh don't be like that hammer, its possible to be a nice guy but have anger issues. Moreover, if you grow up in them circles, violence is a part of life, just because you indulge in it doesn't make you a bad person, far from it.

Keep telling yourself that fingers and everyone has a choice, he decided to indulge in extreme violence so have been treated as such in prison not mollycoddled.

I honestly don't see how gouging is any worse than a punch, elbow, kick or bite.

If he was guilty of doing what he was accused of them yes, he would be a sh1t bag... but it takes two people to dance, my bet is the other guy was just as bad but came out a looser to thought he would screw him by getting him locked up, as far as I can see it was just the victims sons who stood witness.. not sure though..
