Yeah the court is really slow and high bouncing, especially for a place that is soo hot. A court in that part of the world should favour quicker matches Was it Miami where Muzz and Ferrer played the final and both nearly collapsed?

Andy Murray has beaten Adrian Mannerino (France) 6-3 6-3 in the 4th Round of the Indian Wells Masters. It is something of a milestone win (the 496th of his career) and takes him level with Tim Henman for most wins in the Open Era by a British player.

And with Lopez completed the win over Kei Nishikori it means that Murray is sure to keep his No.4 ranking after this tournament.

He has a new coach and is a much more disciplined player than he was... had he done what he should have done in his earlier years instead of, along with his pal Verdasco, chased everything in skirts in Madrid he might have been way ahead in the rankings, still all credit to him he may be in the death throes of his career but he is squeezing the life out of it before he retires

Mannarino looked a bit like Donald Young. Physically gifted and talented but mentally brittle. Always going to throw in a couple of bad games per set.
Lopez v Murray will be interesting. 9-0 to Murray h2h but if Lopez goes all out attack he could cause problems.

mmm Might be a step to far for Lopez me fears.. though his game has improved since they last met and Andy has not exactly been firing on all four cylinders.. but I think there really should only be one winner.. but I would be happy to be proved wrong

Murray 64% on first serves must be a typo. He's never had that consistent a serve in his life.
Lopez is taking his singles career very seriously these days can see him sneaking a set in that 1

Re: The Indian Wells Masters 1000 Thread
After the match, Nishikori gave his assessment.
"I think I really had one bad game at 5-4 [in the second set]," said the Japanese, who had never before reached the fourth round at this event. "I think until then, I was playing better. I mean, he was hitting good serves, but you know, I had all the chances. But just one bad game at 5-4; I think that's all that matters in today's match."
I think it might have been a little more gracious of him to give a modicum of credit to his opponent ???

IMBL, H&M is good, just that the shirts they give to Berdy are a beta test.
Superb is a word not to be confused with H&M, but since you are young, I will let you try some more brands, so don't be a brand slave, try George from Asda, great value/quality too.
See, Josiah knows quality, thought I just donated all my Andy's Under Armour/Under Armpit clothes to Oxfam

H&M do seem to give the newly qualified designers free range on Berdych shirts in the hope that all the hideous outlandish designs they have arrived gone before they join the casual wear department

Re: The Indian Wells Masters 1000 Thread
Sky Bet deal was bet £5, and get £20 free.
So put £5 for an accumulator of Murray and Federer winning today (Murray has already won... if Federer wins I get 89p from that).
Then my £20 free bet was on Simon beating Nadal, at 4/1, so I get £80 for free if Simon beats Nadal.
Still supporting Rafa of course, but unless he improves from yesterday, £80 in my bank account.

For me Andy's having his best hard court Masters since he won the last one. The Kol match was particularly good - I liked the way where he just gave up the set (right at the end) and just went back to this 'A' game, nice match as well
Don't think he's looked in any trouble and this on a hard court not to his liking, he's far better on fast low bouncing stuff than this stuff that actually favours Rafa more than RG
Hope the fab four all make it to the semi's, not least to see what bogbrush has to say about it
