No alternatives available at the moment. Ancelotti might be free in the summer, Pep might be more interested, even Klopp.
Well done Palace. Interested to see them have a whole season with a manager.

Well pardew isn't leaving. No way. So next season will be the time. The sale is almost on as well. With parish keeping his 25% only. The other 3 will double there money supposedly. And pardew will have some money to spend.

Klopp I have a feeling will end up at Citeh. His remarkable spell at Dortmund should probably come to an end, I think he and Dortmund should have a new challenge.

Funny how the Manager of the year is turning into 'who takes over palace & does a good job' award. Don't get me wrong, pardew done well, but wouldn't say he's deserving ahead of a Dyche or Koeman or even Mourinho, who actually sorted the issues of his club out & signed players that has won him the title. In hearing Pardew for England too today, Pardew was hated about 12 months ago, slated as a manager & as a man for his behaviour etc, funny how things change.

Wenger? A league and cup double is still on, though the latter is more probable. Finishing second, and winning the cup will be better than expected.

Who tipped them for relegation? Half way up, fair enough.

Pardew done a cracking job for Palace & just was massively unappreciated at Newcastle, by a selection of idiotic fans & by Ashley. You could argue he's saved two teams from relegation this year, Koeman done a good job too, massively outdone expectation & Dyche would only deserve if Burnley stay up.

Looks good for Pardew but he's taking over a side halfway through the season so they're unsurprisingly still motivated

Fighting talk from Tim Sherwood:
"if the players play to their full potential, we'll win"
No pressure then.

The players didn't play to their full potential.
You lost 4-0
The players didn't play to a 1/4 of their potential...

No way we will concede 4 against QPR, we're not the baggies
Nervous about this game. QPR will be confident after saturday.
Playing to our full potential has been a problem for us.
Need to hit it hard from the first whistle.
Concede early and the nervs will show.
A win and we go 5 points clear.
Am going for a Villa 2-1 win.
Looking forward to it.

If you keep playing the way you are going to be swapping leagues with the Golden Side of Birmingham

Think the Blues are comfortable where they are.
As for us, we'll be ok. Gotta stay positive.

Really not sure how this game will pan out. I only realised this weekend when they put the table up just how much danger villa are still in. Think Sherwood's appointment, and the wins over west brom made me think they were pretty much safe. Far from it! No idea how QPR will fare. Cracking result from the weekend, but they way they are, they could easily lose comfortably tonight. Not sure how fit Zamora is either with as quick turn around. I'll go 2-1 QPR.

QPR got lucky on Saturday that they took their chances. That is not going to happen every game. Not sure Ramsey has enough tactically to change the team/ game from what I have seen so far. Against Palace he waited far too long to change it when his initial team obviously wasn't working.

More terrible play by QPR. Firstly, the ball show have gone out wide to Matty Phillips on the right...
Awful challenge by Caulker. Absolutely no need to go to ground in the opposition half and why were QPR trying to play offside in the Villa half?

Pardew has been great but TP won it last year. And was also just as great(I prefer partds of course as he is one of us and plays with more flair but the system and work rate TP instilled in the players made it a much easier task for pardew) but anyway maybe it's time to just say yes we have had two good managers for our level but the palace players need as much plaudits .Koeman for me.
Palace are allways motivated. It's in our DNA.

Yeah, you're right, Per has had an exceptional season. Did you know David May won a Champions League? May > Adams.
They were quite prophetic, Per wasn't as bad back then

Yes freek.
Very disappointing. Am gutted despite not losing.
Bentele quality.
If we had a man on the post for their second goal as you should, we would have won.

To be fair I would agree, I don't think anybody has found a weakness in the system, it's just that the players' levels did drop. They became complacent I think, was noticeable in the Blackburn and then Swansea matches.
