The Dimi defeat to Isner was a poor result. Really thought Grigor would kick on in a big way this year. Could still happen of course, but he doesn't seem in great form. Do hope he's not going to become another Gasquet, capable of being a wonderful stylist but not turning that into solid results.

This is clearly a forum consisting of mostly tennis fans. Fans who appreciate the sport in all its forms and at the very least respect, if not like all its players. If you have only hate to add to a conversation of people like this, there should be no surprise if you irk people or get criticised. Imagine going to a Star Trek convention and calling everybody nerds you would be rightly asked why you're there. Novak won me with his speech last Wimbledon. No longer the Djoker, he'snrcone the real successor to what Fed and Nadal have soo wonderfully made

Archer - weak era

Kirk was the GOAT; he had peak Khan to contend with, plus Klingons and Romulans. Also he routinely ignored the Prime Directive, which is for wimps. He also scored with loads of women despite not falling for Picard's standard trick of giving them great jobs on the ship.

To be fair to Picard, he had the most impressive English accent of any French guy I've ever heard.

Archer (Bakula) is now in a CSI-type show called NCIS New Orleans.

Janeway/Sisko DS9 was pretty good. Odo was excellent, as was Kira. Dax was an interesting concept with symbiotic Trill (think of Nadal+Federer and you get the forever GOAT...).

Cumberbatch plays Khan quite well, but sometimes acts like Smaug. Pretty mixed up at times.
