Novelty Headcovers
What are the views on these things guys?
Some of them can be a little bit original.... but the endless Tigers on peoples bags are a little too much.
Would anyone consider one?

Yankee. Sarcasm is something I tend not to do.

Nope - can't cope with novelty headcovers, unless of course you are talking about my wide brimmed sun hat!

That's the one.......it keeps the flies off my orange and annoys the hell out of my opponents.
Trouble is it also can't cope with any wind more than a light zephyr, so probably doesn't get the outings it deserves.

Yeah but only because you can watch my big fat a** as I chase the offending article down the fairway, desperately trying to stamp on the thing and making a complete hash of it.

Re: Novelty Headcovers
novelty head covers, I have no issue with them it makes for a talking point sometimes, I have a 4 that the kids have bought me you can blame Mrs Mav for letting them pick their own Christmas/Birthday presents.
The ones I have are the inevitable Tiger which has never been out of the box and is going to be eBayed once a suitable time passed that the kids forget they ever bought it. (Have to admt not a fan of the Tiger ones)
I've got a Piglet one! (yes the one from Winnie the pooh) this was bought by my youngest daughter because she likes piglet!, again this one lives at home on a spare old Driver.
I have a crocodile one my son got me who at 4 years old said "I picked that one daddy because sometimes your snappy" had to give him 10/10 for honesty and irony
Then there's the Cookie Monster from Sesame street one, not sure where they got that one but that does live on my 3wood in my bag simply because i've never seen anyone with it before

I'm after a Shane Lowry/Billy Bunter headcover. Might make it a bit difficult to get the bag in the boot though.

Re: Novelty Headcovers
All joking aside, novelty headcovers do serve one useful purpose. They hide the identity of the club. My uncle had his set of 3 Taylormade woods stolen from his bag outside the clubhouse a few years ago. There were quite a few bags all stood together. I'm sure the tea leaf didn't check under the headcovers to see what was what, he just grabbed the first decent looking ones and legged it.
So maybe hiding your R11 driver with a plain furry headcover from Sports Direct aint such a bad idea after all.

I would love to get an Eric Cartman headcover for my driver. They don't seem to exist though.

It'll be just like that early episode where cartman gets probed. Only this time with a 460 driver.
I'm actually thinking of a penguin cover. The little slugs favourite stuffed toy is a penguin.... hence my reasoning.
