After WrestleMania are you more, or less, or just the same interested in WWE?
So, did last night's WM fire you up with excitement about the near term future of WWE and the feuds that can be set up?
Or, did you decide that sure they might do it one night a year, but it'll be back to the same old, same old now?
Or, do you think that's it, Big Show won, I'm done with WWE now?

I was planning on cancelling my WWE Network subscription after Mania, but with NXT being worth watching and loosely based on last night's show, Extreme Rules tempts me, so will hold fire.
Big Show was the right winner last night, against jobbers and midcarders, fine. It's when he's in the Royal Rumble eliminating main eventers it becomes an issue! But even then, the guy is 7ft, 450lbs, of course he's gonna do well in these matches.

I wanted to see what others would say. But I am in the same position with regards to your first para. I was jaded with WWE and ready to cancel the network then come back around Summerslam. It is only a couple of hours since WM, but I'm in for another month or two at least. And, I guess that is how WWE converts a 9.99 WM event into a bigger income stream if we are in any way reflective of a larger number of subscribers.
I get Big Show winning. If you are going to always say that the biggest man is favourite, he should win. And WWE see him as giving a lot to the organization over the years. And this "title" is worth nothing. At the time I'd have preferred a reboot with Cesaro winning again or to see Mizdow win, but hey it is what it is.

Solid post there nick, i particularly liked the way you offered your suggestion on who should have won and why
Im not a big show fan but think he was the right choice. The fact that its only taken a year for the match to be moved from the main card to pre show shows they dont really take the gimmick all that seriou. Big show has paid his dues over the years, while theyve d!cked him.over with pointless heel and face turns, plus as Marky says, as the biggest guy in the match it was only natural he should win ot. I couldnt even make a case for Mizdow, they got it spot on with his refusal to help and eliminating Miz which is the storyline, him winning the thing wouldnt really have improved that any
I think the only person i could have seen winning other than Show, wasnt even in the match, and thats Sheamus

He's getting more fans backing him the longer he's away. If he takes another 6 months off he'll be coming back to a world title shotgazzyD wrote:

Just to play Devil's Advocate. I think they could have gone with Ryback. He's not to my taste, but he gets a good reception from the crowd and I think if WWE could work out what to do with him he'd have something. But, as last year showed, if they have no firm plans post-Mania don't bother putting it on someone just for them to sink without trace.

I personally would have gone with Axel.
Make a gimmick how he can only hulk-up (or Axel up) at big PPVs.

hahaha tbh I'm not a fan myself, god knows the first time I hear him call someone fella I'll want him gone again, just the vignettes they've been airing for him, I was surprised he never made appearance, think if he had he would have been the natural choice for winner
Yeah Ryback is a strange one, they just have no idea how to use him

Ryback or Itami were my choices. But they were building for the Mizdow payoff so needed to be a heel

Ryback would of been mine. Or jack swaggeer. Chance to build them up again instead of some big dumb giant who hasn't performed well for years.

I'm not a fan of Big Show winning but I do understand it, if this Battle Royal is here to stay then in 10-15 years time when you are going through past winners then Big Show has some name value and has a helluva back catalogue, in time it could help the prestige of the tournament, for me though I wanted Cesaro to win it again, I think him defending his Trophy would have made it seem that little bit more prestigious

To be honest I can also see it from the exact opposite side as well. If WWE decide they are not going to do the ATGMBR any more, then retiring it with Andre's "son" is kind of an appropriate way to go. And, you know, Big Show won it. Little is likely to come of that. We've got 364 days to forget this existed.
